-Despite the fact you already have a winning formula (never change it), week after week you manage to inject more and more enjoyment and pleasure. Thanks for sharing.
Far Out…..my kids are in their twenties and finishing uni. I can imagine the logistics of your daily routine and it makes me feel great respect for your effort.
When we broke down on the Gunbarrel we limped into Wiluna in 2010. Had to stay at a van park behind the pub but after 4 days in we drove back to Perth with a broken off-road camper spring held together with a big shifter and tyre levers as the local mechanic let us down big time. Enjoy the Canning. Great Vid
What a great episode. You love life and your positive attitude to life is inspiring. Keepin it real and natural. The big fella in a mood, water tank leaking and still a smile and a smile. You guys have found the key to happiness. One thing I love, is rarely if ever have you used click bait. Most channels would have milked that water leak. "OMG, WILL WE MAKE IT WITHOUT WATER " and the big fella with hands on his head. Your channel proves that good genuine content is the formula. Your relationship and family bonds is lovely. I have said this before but I've met you guys and you are the real deal. I'm becoming obsessed with your travels. Keep us the great content guys. Love. Oh yea - Keep giving it to the big fella girl. Love it. 🤣🤣🤣
This was one of your best episodes, but that is not to take away from any others. Nick is a man after my own heart, and I have always wanted to do the Canning. I can't wait for the next episode. The problem is a weeks wait. Stay safe guy's.
Another awesome vid and ready for the big off-road adventure and my guess is CSR! Something on my to do list in the cruiser - on my own! 🎉 The three kids on the rock sound like the drone 😂 so funny! You guys are the real deal and just realised after all this time I was not subscribed BUT watch your channel each week. So liked and subscribed!!!! 😊
Talk about extreme from the beach ⛱️ to the bush you can't get more bush than the CSR good on you guys it's on my bucket 🪣 list to take care and a safe trip cheers legends 😄
We just had to go back and watch this episode again cos we remembered we were a bit pissed when we first saw it and felt we might have had a distorted view of what went on. But NOOO it was just as funny the second time, we laughed all the way through. ❤❤
Two mate’s and I completed the CSR in 2019, I have no doubt you guys have had a fantastic adventure 😎 3OC 🤘👍😎 Nick, if you want to visit a truly spectacular location on the CSR that very very few people visit, reach out to me if you like. Your family will absolutely love it, plus it has a fantastic swimming hole. Cheers
Wow going the distance this time, can't wait for the next episode. The boys are are becoming an awesome little team and loving this adventure. And Nick that drone OMG it is AWESOME . You need to do a review on that some of that footage is amazing it's almost like being in the cockpit of a fighter jet it's soo cool.
How exciting, love that part of the world.. we are heading out to Carnegie Station for a few days, only got 8 days off work so a quick trip.. The roads look good for us. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Just spent a couple of minutes trying to get the white spot off my screen at 4.50 minutes. Took me a while to realise it was the moon. Der 😂😂😂 keep it up guys
Your videos are so depressing , because I'm not out there doing it 😢 it's always an amazing experience coming along for the ride with you lot . Stay safe on your travels ❤️
Good luck on the trip i will follow along. Love your vids have been tagging along for ages. Been to a lot of those places you have been too. Take care. We will be over there some time later this year hopefully. Bravo from victoria australia.
Guys I had so hoped you were doing CSR. I will be on the edge of my seat - well laying back in bed having to share you with hubby😅 I can't wait to see your adventure as this is certainly one of my top 3 that I want to go. Enjoy a safe trip 😁
It's a pity we can't clone Elenya. Every guy who likes to travel would want to travel with someone who has Elenya's good nature and great humour. What a pleasure to travel with someone who doesn't moan and whinge about all the exigencies of 4x4 travel and off-grid camping. And only guys with very thin skins couldn't cope with her good natured ribbing. It's a bit of a stretch to call her cooking skills "gourmet," for she is terrible at it, but they can both laugh appropriately at their cooking attempts. I even winced at the thought of what could go wrong with a shallow pan full of hot oil cooking rice crackers (that's why they look plastic, Elenya) on an unstable campfire base with young kids around, but they pulled it off. And I could nominate Nick for being the best dad in the world for the way he lets the kids play uninhibited by parental aversions to dirt and mud. Good luck to them. The benefits to their kids (if they survive!) are immeasurable.
Hahahaha loved reading this comment but nick would say ‘ you don’t have to live with her😂 or try her food’ (: but seriously nicks an amazing dad! The boys are sooo lucky (: appreciate your support!
I've driven some very remote tracks in rural Nevada, but the Canning stock route is a whole other order of magnitude. Its like driving across a totally unpopulated West Texas -- several times. The scale of the landscape in Australia is immense. Do be careful with the kids, around those wells. If one of them fell in, it would be a disaster.
We love the Canning! Derba Springs was our favourite camp. You're in for a great adventure. Can't wait to see the next episode. Love following your fam❤
WOW guys so exciting going to love watching this adventure 💕💕💕A tip for rice 🍚 bring to the boil take it off the heat wrap in a towel and let sit for 15min fluff with fork and it should be good to go !! Can’t wait for the next installment 🫶🍻💕
Love this episode guy, brings back so many mean memories, I got 2 punctures in cue at the same time love that part of the Outback beautiful sunset while bathing the boys enjoy guys be safe see you in the next episode Anna and Danny dozer xx ❤
And so it begins, can't wait for the next one. It's going to be epic for sure..... There eps should be longer though, I just get comfortable, and then it's finished 😂 Thanks for the share 🤙👍
"a big length of cable" 😂😂😂 I've never heard that one before! I've got 2 grandies at that age. Wonder what their parents will say when I drop that line! 😂
I am so stoked your doing the CSR. Its pretty much at the top of my must drive tracks. The boys sittibg in their camp chairs was funny as. Lennox - i think - sitting there looking like he has just worked a 90 hour week and is ready to retire😂😂😂
Yes it’s one of the best trips we have done so far! Such an epic adventure (: get out there ASAP! You will love it (: Yes Lennox is a funny boy, I’ve always said ‘he’s been here before’ (:
You brought a lot of good memory for my partner who did a lot of exploration drilling on the granite peak station,as he was base at Mt,Cecil Rhodes. All in that area, good video guys.
Love, love, love it. The WA outback has to be seen to be believed. We're just back from doing a couple of weeks in the eastern goldfields and doing some of the GCR. Absolutely loved it but I so love that you can show me a different perspective with the drone. Keep it up guys ...you're killing it and oh my goodness just love your boys
Good luck on the Canning. Looking forward to watching your adventures. Why does the water tank leak on the track not when you’re in a city. Murphy at work. Would love to see a video explaining the screens on your dash
Yes! Always the way 🤦♀️😂 oh well! Atleast we caught it I guess (: Hahah yes, ones a hema navigation, our caravan battery system, reversing camera and tyre pressure monitors 😂 we do have a lot up there 😂
nick n eleyna u pair are super troopers wow u go to the most remote places 👏👏the boys jus keep playn in that mud 🤣🤣nothing worries them 🤣❤️can i jus ask why didnt you take van ? is it not suitable for vans ? looking forward to nx part 👍👍take care n safe travels
Hmmm, is that rain or flies in front of the headlights at 00:54??? "Power water free washing machine.......and everything...(even a free cricket pitch)" It seems I'm going to edit this comment a dozen times: - With the absence of the tinny you could get another roof top tent up there - one for the kids - I'm LOVING the new toy with helicopter style zooms all over the landscape !!! - WOW now THAT was a sunset! 13:35 - ??? First you head north to Miling, and now west? - Spray the ships with canola oil and pop them in a microwave rather than risking the kids proximity to the hot oil. Hot oil and a fire....😱. Just a suggestion. - Do you guys filter the water from the wells for drinking/cooking? - did you get an EPIRB or Garmin INREACH mini 2? Stay safe and be careful out there.
Well guys tonight's comment might be a little disjointed cos the old girl and I are a bit pissed sharing a bottle of single malt to celebrate a couple of things, firstly Elenya getting a 10 for her cooking [the first time that we can remember] see Elenya "The Thug" can do it. Secondly we have both just come out of sick bay and are on the mend. We are so proud of you both tackling the CSR and doing it the hard way with minimal luxuries but then there's the old grandparent side of us that will worry about the kids should something go wrong. Thirdly, did I say there were 3 things, anyhow a couple can be 3 well tonight's episode was great just what we like and we know you lot do too, " campin in tha bush, isolation and the kids runnin wild", anyhow you lot just have the best time and we're sure we don't have to say that, knowing the family you are. ❤❤good luck from "The Spiders"
Have you guys ever thought of prospecting for gold ?. I see on so many of your videos, places that would definately have gold. And the price is through the roof atm. Gold is at an all time high
Guys you should SERIOUSLY consider buying a RAINMAN desalination unit. Then you can stay anywhere and fill you tanks with water from ANY source!!!!....... Worth every penny!!!!
Except they are stupid heavy on power consumption, take up a significant amount of space and rely heavily on the right type of water for it to be made potable.
