Out of touch government that doesn't care about those who cannot afford $40k+ baseline vehicles, and the taxes, insurance, registration, gasoline costs, etc. that go along with it.
I remembered spotting the same action in Port Charlotte when I was driving to work. It’s sad how the state is known to be dangerous for pedestrians and bicyclists.
Jose I want to thank you for the Bradenton videos you upload. I play them for my mom on the tv, she lived in Bradenton for 20 years but was deported around 2010 and hasn't been able to return. Every time you upload a video in Bradenton it makes her feel a little closer to the place we called home growing up, as ugly as it is, it was home.

@@gasmith7486 She actually didn't get deported, she left the country but the kind of visa she was on didn't get approved when she tried to come back. It was easier to say she got deported but I don't think you care about that, you just like to complain and pretend this hasn't always been a country of immigrants unless you're native.
Having grown up in Orlando, I can say that there’s a whole Lotta places in Florida that are that way I’m currently in California and the same could be said there as well.
you have to time each side with the lights. cross one side, wait on the centerline til the the other side 's traffic timed to the light clears. then cross the second side. to cross 3 lanes takes about 5 seconds at a standard 3 mph walk and probably 3 seconds at a trot/run.. In that 5 seconds , 40 mph traffic moves 60 feet per second times 5 seconds or 250 feet towards you. which is why a trot or run is the better choice. at night this can be deadly unless you are carrying good visibility lights, which almost no one does. Something like a strong bike blinky or a strobe.
Its a state highway. There is no way the local city could address this issue. I know because its bot my first rodeo with trying to get infrastructure for an area
