As a Skins fan I really really dig your uniforms especially with the burgundy and gold along with the Good and white and gold and black. I feel they didn't do enough R&D on the unis! Great video

Omg !!!!! Your uniforms are so good u just made a case for why u should be in the room for all the nfl redesigning…. The clean up uniforms where so much better then what they actually did. The stars on the helmets killed those nasty Ws.
I hope they take that a lot of your suggestions and and definitely replace the W on the black uni’s with stars along with exactly what you did with color scheme for the away white..love it!
Woah 10 out of 10! Synder needs to hire you! I am a Redskins traditionalist. I came to finally accept the name change, I don't hate Commanders name. But I hated the new uniform. I was incensed they decided to change the uniform but they didn't need to after changing the name. Now that I seen your mock improvement, for the first time I can see a uniform change that I like! the 3 stars on the sleeve, numbers being back on the sleeves, yellow face mask, stripe on the pants, no black... I was not expecting for my opinion that all uniform changes/updates would be bad. Seriously I never thought I would support a redskins uniform change. the only thing I would add, the old redskins helmet popped because the yellow ring and feathers on the burgundy background. but the plain W just doesn't have the same effect on the eyes. If you ever bought redskins swag, keychain, cap, t shirt... it immediately catches the eyes. and I think NFL teams should only have white jersey numbers.

The three stars on the front of black helmet is fire great choice I think the black jerseys need more burgundy though because they look a lot like the Steelers

DUDE!!! I cannot believe a guy with an Eagles jersey just CRUSHED the challenge of making our uniforms great. Your work is world class in my view! Not exaggerated or gaudy, but bold still and so unique. Simple and powerful! Congratulations man...you are so talented. I just wish they would have called you before Nike. Wow. I'm not sure I will ever be satisfied with what I see on the field now that I've seen your designs. FYI, I have been a die hard, burgundy and gold warrior for 40 years. Not just anybody on here with an opinion. What you've imagined might even be better than 95% of the Redskins uniforms we ever put out. Thanks so much for doing this. I really hope they see your work and connect. Matter of fact, Im gonna send your stuff to them myself and make sure they see them. Somehow. The only gap I noticed (in my opinion) was in your light leverage of the three stars and the military connection. Something bolder in the use of the stars and the stripes. Oh my god man, the Commanders name itself isn’t good but it looks SO MUCH better with competent uniforms!! I am struggling so hard to get behind our name and it’s because all the uniforms are so random and terrible. I wish we did something like this. It’s so difficult to not be upset at the rebranding 😩
Your fixes were pretty much what I had in my head. I really like a lot of your concepts and would hope you send this video directly to Commanders HQ daily until they fix their uniforms.

I’m my opinion, Commanders sounds pretty cool, but they should change their branding from Washington to DC. Too many teams in the area use Washington as their brand, plus the DC Commanders sounds SO much better!! The uniforms u created r sick tho ngl. Keep it up!! 👍

Personally, RedTails sounds better. The other names sound silly and cartoonish (Hogs for example). But Commanders sounds cool. It fits the region. The unis in your video are way better than what they had. The old school Redskins with the arrows on the helmet and that version of the burgundy were way better than the ones Riggins era players wore. All subsequent versions of the helmets with the Native American were never attractive. The unis with the thinner sleeve stripes were way better than than thick stripes of the earlier era. The ones in the video are better.
Your burgundy jersey/gold pants combination for the home uniform is my favorite. For the road uniform I would keep the burgundy helmets and have white jerseys with burgundy numbers and letters with the gold pants and burgundy socks you designed for the aforementioned home uniform. Definitely a lot better than what they're wearing this season.
Your Concept uniforms were 🔥🔥🔥 . However I like the black helmets with your stars as the only change. As far as the black helmet I would’ve add a matte/gloss camo design

I love your work and watching your videos makes me wonder what the heck some of these team designers are thinking when they make some of these uniforms. In my humble opinion, there is no way Commander fans are going to look at their current uniforms thinking its anywhere close to the uniforms you just created.

I really like the way you would have designed the uniform.l am a big fan of the burgundy and yellow helmet,and the yellow pants.l would have done away with the black helmet,black jerseys and pants.And the"commanders" above the uniform numbers,l would have done away with the lines going across.Overall,the uniforms look good.
Perfect example of how no matter how good the designers are, when the suits pick their favorites that’s what gets picked. Then the designer gets the blame because their 17th/25 designs was their sloppiest one and the suits picked it
I actually really like your designs. However, this is or was a storied old school NFL franchise. The uniforms really didn't need to be changed. They could be altered a bit but to drastically go away from what we had was a total epic failure. What you have at 11:20 is what we looked like in the 70's which is perfect. Also 10:24 is what we called our championship uniform and was our home jersey for a long time. 10:47 is good too. Basically you nailed these. Well done.
Idk why teams are getting rid of side numbers. Those are very nice concepts you made. Commanders should have hired you to make the uniforms lol. Maybe they should hire you to modify their uniforms in a couple of years haha
Hey Noah! I was thinking about the “Redesign CFB Teams” series, and I wanted to recommend a few teams I think would be fun to design. First off the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, they might not be as popular, but they have a real cool color scheme and even a classic throwback with brilliant aspects. Another team I would recommend is the Georgia Bull Dogs, I know with your designing skill and their current uniforms (which are just short of great) you could could piece together an awesome jersey with good looking alternates/throwbacks. I really think that your redesigns would look BALLER for those teams! Btw I love the commies redesign!!! :)
I suggested the Brave as the new moniker on Washington's website asking for fan input as a nod to the teams' past as the Braves and in recognition of first responders. But as we've discovered, like anything Snyder is connected with, fans naming the team was a bogus venture. Commanders was the pick even before asking for fan offerings was launched.
Hello. I am Smitty Herron….the one who initially submitted “Commanders” to be the new name of the Washington Football Team back in early July of 2020. There are quite a few fans who don’t like the name, but they will LOVE it when the team makes the playoffs this upcoming season.
10:24 those are dope but it makes me think maybe they didn’t do as much with the stars because of the cowboys. That jersey looks like the thanksgiving throwback cowboys jerseys in different colors
I agree with the majority of the jersey changes you made minus the black alternate. I think the number should have been burgendy with gold trim, same as on the black helmet. Just use a slightly lighter shade of burgendy so it shows more with the black and with the gold outlines and trims to support the burgendy I think that would have looked really cool.
I really thought they would stay Football Team. It just worked. Made them unique. I thought their redesign was terrible. I’d love to take a shot at this, so might have to grab your template. It’s currently disjointed. I like your design. It feels like they’re a bit lost right now. Your white with dark pants at the end are the best.
When I thought Dan would listen to the fans and name the team Red Wolves, I was excited. Truth be told, I really liked the name Washington Football Team. The uniforms do not appear to be well thought out. Things seem to be pasted on without flow. The white is terrible; the black is equally terrible. I really, really like how you put thought into the representation of the storied franchise and gave it a modern freshness. I love the yellow uniforms, especially. Adding the stripe on the pants, reimagineing the black uniform, I love every single change you made. Snyder always gets it wrong.
These are wayyyy better than the team’s designed uniforms! The black uniform would look good with adding the players name patch to the front opposite to the commanders patch and leave the back name off completely and just have the number. Awesome work, would never expect it from an eagles fan.. loll jk
When a team changes uniforms most people hate them the chargers are the exception I agree with a lot of what you said except for the black uniforms the only thing they need to change is to take the w off the helmet which is my favorite Jersey born and raised in Washington DC almost every Commander fan prefer the Washington football team name. Than the commanders
I too am a lifelong Redskin fan and I appreciate the critique. Only time will tell if there are tweaks but all those uniform concerns fall by the wayside if they just start a winning tradition.

Way better than the real unis. The thin font used on the current jersey numbers is awful. Def agree w/ using classic block font or that military font could be cool if a bit thicker.
I have a perfect fix for the bland Commanders uniforms. Remove the W from the helmet, replace it with the profile of an Indian head, put in a white circle with a feather.. then put the yellow & white stripes down the middle. Remove the word 'Commanders' from the jerseys, and replace it with the word 'Redskins'.
I love your uniform designs so much. Much better than the lot left to be desired uniforms than we currently & are also uninspiring. Nike and this owner needs to learn to listen to the fans on uniform designs not just pick what suits them. And where’s the gold on these uniforms, Mr Snyder aka TOXIC.
For your next thread fix could you do the Cleveland Cavaliers? I really like their new logos and color scheme but the jersey is too bland in my opinion
I definitely agree with you about the yellow facemask and the fade one the white jersey numbers it's ugly and the burgundy needs to be darker on the white Jersey numbers with more gold
