Oh yay!! My only advice is be sure the items are something you are fine with listing yourself just in case they dont. And make sure you know how to check the thredup list so you can send it in to a partner kit as another option. They dont take target for example but they take random Rampage and no names lol. Makes no sense. I definitely take kids bins items to once upon a child and often it pays for the entire haul!

I actually thinking about going through old inventory from online boxes I purchased, listed and haven't sold yet and taking them to Plato's and anther BST here and see how they do. Clear out old not sold inventory and get my money back.

They definitely aren’t all created equal! There are two that I never go to, they take nothing. And another I can think of is soooo unorganized. I checked the maps and there are 9 locations within 30 mins of me. 😂

Make a day of it! Find one near other errands or thrifts 😂 and honestly mine are packed so full I easily spend the 1-2 hours it takes them. I forgot to mention the biggest tip…get there AT OPENING! Like be waiting for them to unlock the door. Otherwise it takes the entire day.

Yikes 😂😂😂 however - a partner kit might work out great for that!! it really does not take much time to type in the brand and see if it’s one that is accepted. But based off of the videos I’ve seen of those bales, the buy sell trade probably won’t take much.

I'm surprised that I'm in Philadelphia...a nice big city...and have no buy/sell/trade stores near me. Definitely have to pack up some stuff for Plato's. EDIT: I googled Clothes Mentor instead of buy/sell/trade and it popped up. Not as close as I'd like but doable! Thank you. Would have never known to check for this particular store.

Free? how is it free? You sourced items to get the credit for thred up so it wasnt free(even at the bins) then you paid for the box which is pricy in itself and to make that money back or more is a big IF but it's not exactly free.

Did you watch the entire video? This was a recap of previous videos where I buy bulk from ThredUP. I make all my money back from the boxes and already well into the profit just doing the trades and selling a few items. I still have an entire tub of items to list from my original purchase that yes are now free because the cost of original goods was paid. Make sense?

This was such a great video! I do the same thing with my bins haul. I have to drive 2 hours to get to my closest bins so I make it worth my time!! I pick up items to flip at BST, kids' consignment, and thredup. Usually make my money back, and then the leftover items (to list or keep) end up being free.

Yes!! Once I get through my current money pile…it’s so big 😂😆…I plan to source more at the bins. Mine is 19 minutes away so no reason for me not to be going often!!! And then getting it free at the local OUAC!

They are both so different!! Depends on if you are going alone 😅 one is in an industrial area and the other is in the middle of a shopping center in a very unsafe part of town so I never go to that one alone although I like it better.

You did great! Last time I went to my Plato's with 2 big ikea bags they took 3 items. They always seem to have too much inventory. Its 30 minutes away so I will never go back unless I have another reason to be over that way.

Google “ThredUP partner kits” - I don’t know how to access that area from the TU website so it’s what I do every time! And when you click the link it directs you to the TU website, I have mine set so I’m always logged in.

Totally depends!! Currently I have so much inventory I’m not picking things up unless I can profit $20+. Of course it’s different if it comes out of a mystery box.
