I LOVED hearing and watching 3 Doors Down's performance for President Trump's Inauguration when it happened; it was one of the most hopeful, patriotic, and inspiring musical events I've witnessed! Pray we'll see it again..

Justin Anderson I think at one time they had the recognition and now like many great bands from the era of the early 2000's it's hard for them to gain new fans because all of the newer generations who didn't grow up with this type of music have clung to complete garbage (pop music ) it sucks I truly hope one day Rock music will be able to make a huge comeback and be in the top 40 again! But we can only hope.
Always liked Three Doors Down and now that I know they performed fir the best President everrrr, Donald J. Trump, well now I love 3 Doors Down. Way to go y'all!!!!🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

matt17dodge Them playing on that occasion made me realize the truth of that. at first I thought i would not listen to anything from ever again. But now I think that 1. (neutral) music is just that - music 2. (positive) music can never be a bad thing. the Usa need as much bridges and common groubd right now as possible. The blind hatred that in parts exist on both sides may not be fueled. both sides have some valid concerns and arguments. Only extremists are bad. but in between fanatics there is big room for compromise - being democratic in one aspect but also being conservative in other aspects. it is the UNITED states of america after all. being united is what makes the country great. respectful and constructive. Include all religions and colors but also dont let small folks behind (step up public education quality for more people to do your higher qualified jobs) and keep check on the banks and insurrance companies (no crisis that small people have to pay for). And for christ's sake dont abandon/distance yourself from allys and friends in europe ! Spread true patriotism for your values and stop the hatred where u can. dont fuel it.
matt17dodge I thought the same thing too. People who are dropping them for this are being immature. Hell, I've had times when a band I liked did something I don't like. RHCP held a Bernie Sanders support concert, whereas I'm strongly against Bernie. Roger Waters of Pink Floyd is all BDS, whereas I'm a supporter of Israel. However, I still love the sounds Pink Floyd and RHCP because I know how to focus on the music and little to nothing when it comes to their political views. Their music, their voice. Their shows, their choice. That's how I see it.
3 DOORS DOWN is a CLASS ACT. They sell out where ever they go. I have been to a lot of concerts, but they always show their true patriotism, always thanking the troops and our first responders. I will always support 3 Doors Down.

one of my favorite bands...have seen them twice and they rocked out both times, both of which had thousands of people since people are comparing crowd sizes....they support our country and our military 100% ..any real fan of theirs knows that.

Kryptonite is a good song and they performed it well. I just can't believe they headlined a presidential inauguration in 2017. It's actually kind of impressive. Good for them.
They could have just done their original 2000 album alone and they'd be set for life. That album was insanely popular and flew off the shelves. The songs Kryptonite and Loser are iconic.
Awesome group, awesome performance...I've always been a fan of 3 Doors Down and love them even more for this particular event. It's great to be American!
Funny thing is when I was in training for the army Superman was my favorite song to sing, we heard Lee greenwood after our final exercise. 4 am when we finally made it back after three long days they played proud to be an American. Fitting concert, proud of my country.
Dracula Nova “wanted the publicity”? 3 doors down has been around since 1996 and has sold 30 million albums worldwide. They didn’t play this for publicity. They played it because they love America and this was a once in a lifetime opportunity

When considering quality of lyrics / melody / talent / composition - they are one of the best bands within the last 25 years. Their practical, they sing about everything, uniquely aren’t cliche and are easy to relate too.
Aren't cliche? Are you kidding me? I have nothing against this band, and good for them for making a living playing music, but this is some of the most tired, overdone, and toothless rock music out there. There are a billion bands that sound just like this.

SO PROUD to have Three Doors Down perform at the 2017 Presidential Inauguration Ceremony!! They have TRUE respect for this country & especially our Military! Wish the Trump family had shown more appreciation for this performance. I Voted TRUMP & I support President Trump!

One of the few bands nowadays that actually have a talented singer. I saw them in concert years ago when Brad was in his prime, his voice hasn't changed much. He also played the drums and sang at the same time, which I loved,cause I don't know many performers who can actually pull that off
Love this band. They could've dropped out like the other band did that signed up from the hate BUT they stayed. They did great. I like them even more now.

3doorsdown i met them at the studio in Hilversum i was only 18 but there is a bed for them here in Holland. You got the feeling back then that they were overwhelmed by the fame and were just average guys that were honest salt of earth guys.

Isn’t it funny they sung a song called Kryptonite and on the show Smallville Lex was elected president. It’s almost like it was inevitable for a former business man to become president
The drummer held them together... when they played kryptonite there timing was off but they do sound better then back in the day. P.s. Everyone who's never picked up an instrument will talk shit about this genre of music. Them and nickel back lol
