Van, I have never understood a christian that can vote for a party okay with abortion, especially after the first trimester. Personally, I am totally against abortion at anytime, but I know I live in America and our states vote on these issues. What really makes me scratch my head in disbelief is these politicians who claim to be Catholic and are okay with abortion. Catholics don't even believe in birth control. I've got news for Joy. I don't know about her god, but my God watches over all of us AT THE SAME TIME. Why is she putting limits on what God can do? You do carry the Holy Spirit, I hear it in your tone as well as your words so often. I usually have to "catch up" with your live casts after I get off work. I seldom disagree with anything you say, and am not surprised with anyone who has done their research for whatever reason. I started out an anti-war pacifist campaigning for Eugene McCarthy in 1968, then changed to Republican after that convention. I was never an RFK fan, but I do like Junior "now".....he is much more like his uncle than his dad. I disagreed with 99% of his policies but the historian in me credits Obama with a semi-successful admin. My big problem with him he grew the swamp so deep, it will be difficult to drain it. I am an old military guy, and had White House courier duty for Presidents Nixon through Bush 41 and was recalled three times, so I know bureaucracy is - if not the enemy at least they are not 'soldiers'. Can see the division in the bigger part family n friends. Fights at get togethers, some haven't talked to each other in years. People ask me how I feel about the fighting. I tell them saves me money on having to buy Birthday and Christmas gifts.
I really feel sorry for those two ladies. The View started the same year I first got pregnant. My sister had recently had a child, and we joined the target market of women home in the middle of the day taking care of their kids. It was all too clear the disturbing, illogical influence that was taking place, influencing a generation of women in some of the worst ways. Worst because it appeals to the temptations of female biology or cultural influences on women: the correct view is the one that confirms you're a good, caring person. The problem is that no real logical thought was being applied to examine the effects of The View being expressed. They gave you a veneer of logic, and unless the woman watching had a strong mind on her own, she just got sucked in. I think more than anything else, the collective embracing of the right to carve up your own offspring as long as they are still in your body created such extreme cognitive dissonance that women as a group just won't think. They won't challenge ideas good-naturedly with each other. They get emotionally invested and extremely defensive and you can almost never have an intellectual discussion with them that risks treading on any of their beliefs. As a woman who ended up getting a PhD in a mathematical field, it's been very frustrating. Because it goes all the way up the academic ladder. Women want The View. The One Correct Way approved by the herd to which they all conform.
I thank you for this show that keeps us on track with our God and his purpise. There are so many bad influences and temptations constantly pulling on our sleeves...trying to make us question what we know to be right. I'm struggling with my first responses to people like on the view. They truly bring out my defense and the negative thoughts. I want to scream ...why must they be so blind and empty inside...yet I know why and continue to pray. Your show is very helpful to me and I'm sure to many others! If God saved your life its one great testimony. God gives us these testimonies to share with our brothers to show his glory and Grace. If she was any kind of Christian she would know that.

Trump and Biden did the job of dividing this country. They used us for their own gain. I was a Republican all my life. I am so sick and disgusted what they have done to our once strong and beautiful country. As far as being a Christian that is between Trump and God. Yet if it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck, it's probably a duck. I want to vote for a person that talks the talk and most definitely walks the walk period.
Catholics are not Christians but they only about the New Testaments not the Holy Scriptures . They don't do the old and new Testaments. The Jews and Muslims only study the laws of Moses not The New Testament of Jesus. When you a Christian ✝️ you study the Whole Bible from the beginning to the End of the 66 books.
