I had the honor of pushing Koa into his first wave, and almost drowning him when he fell off halfway in! Your mom had a dream that you’d drowned, and cautioned Hilda and I about it… but did I listen??!! No…just glad you were able to cling onto the leash until I swam to you. Did you know that I surfed every single place on this vid? Alone. Or with one other guy. La Bamba was the gnarliest, as someone was shooting at us in the water from the hill above. one of my favorites yet. is your videography stepping up a level or am i mistaken? the vibe of this was great, the music , the fun, the tempo of the waves. some of those barrels first day were pretty heavy. the color of the waves in mexico is like nowhere else. the only thing i might have liked to see added was a little interaction with the culture there=where you stayed, the town, if you ate anywhere good. but best part was getting caught up in the fun you were having. great turkey imitation, by the way.

Awesome, takes me back to our trip down there, hit all those spots, but didn't quite get the waves you guys got! One of the best sessions of my life was out in front of that resort when it was like 2 foot out on an epoxy funboard and no one out. You guys meet Cesar? :)
