I have rarely seen a comparison between vocalist enduring for so long. I've been a 3DG fan since Adam was vocalist. Matt is not a bad singer, of course not. But his voice makes the band a little "less heavy", a little more "melodic" in my conception. Personally, I think, that's why so many fans misses Adam so much. I like Saint Asonia, but I prefer Adam's work with 3DG. Just like I prefer 3DG with Adam. I miss a vocalist who could bring the "anger and heavy" that Adam brought to the band. Matt brings the energy, but not the heavy part. I don't think it's a question of better or worse. It seems that Matt does a good job and in My darkest days his voice fits well. However, 3DG with Adam gives to songs like this a different meaning and this is the meaning that I miss. 3DG sounds a different band with Matt!

As much as Matt has a good voice (don’t get me wrong he does) , there is nothing like Adam’s throat wrenching screams where you can actually feel the emotion being poured into the song.

I personally like that Matt is singing old songs that Adam made. It gives us a comparison of how both singers have sung them. Yeah I know people would prefer Adam over Matt when it comes to the og songs, but you just gotta give him a chance and see what he can do with them. Other than that, I say Matt did a good job on this, imo.

Matt and Adam are obviously both amazing singers and super talented. I love them both the same way. When Matt first appeared in group, I didn't know what to expect. But now I know that he was the change that TDG needed. Human and Outsider sound familiar and different at the same time and that's what's amazing about this band. Love you from Czech Republic.

Also, you should be at least grateful that he took the time to learn this old songs and sing them live instead of letting them, basically die in only the old fans memories

As someone who's literally performed *ON* stage with this band, guys please just enjoy the music. Whether it's Matt Or Adam in the band, *THIS* right now is Three Days Grace and will be until the end, just move on if you dislike it. One thing you cannot deny is Matt stepped in to fill a massive hole and he's made his own mark which honestly, I prefer. Three Days Graces forever!

Adam was a absurdly skilled singer. Matt is not that YET. They are both very different singers and have their identity, and I love that. It's possible to see Mat's evolution since he got in the band, and with time, he will be even more authentic and skilled. This is a new face for the band and that's incredible. I really wish them to release even more classics with Matt's voice in line. :D

Honestly I think Neil should be lead singer he has progressed so much since the start of the band and not that I don't like matt but I'd prefer Neil as he sounds somewhat closer to what previous three days grace songs would have sounded like it's not that the bands current sound is bad it's just that Neil would bring back the bands originality 🤷‍♀️
