RealSpartan 5206 I mean Matt can sing some of Adams songs but a lot of them in my opinion just don’t sound right with his voice for example his Home sounds phenomenal and I’d even argue it sounds better than Adam’s live of home but if we go Never Too Late Matt sounds awful with it. Matt sounds great though with his songs and I do enjoy them though.
in most of the songs he sang on this festival he tried to sound like Adam, which didn't sound good at all. I really do like his voice when he's not trying so hard to reach Adam's range when he clearly has his own, unique and quite cool one
People usually compare Matt and Adam on these videos with Matt and the only thing I think Matt outclasses Adam in are the screams. Adam's aren't bad, but Matt's just has more power to them. Ofc Matt doesn't have as good cleans and distortion, but if Adam ever came back and sang Matt's songs (doubt it if he did), he wouldn't do it as good as Matt since both have their own styles and their voices fit different styles. The only song from Adam's era I think Matt can sing almost as good as Adam in is definitely Home. Both singers definitely have their strengths and weaknesses, but I still think Matt is a great replacement and has lots of potential to grow. The guys need to try going heavier with Matt with the next album for sure. If they do that, it might even been the best album since Life Starts Now came out imo.
This is how Outsider and Human should've been. We need heavy. I don't understand why they don't wanna go heavy like in the old days of One-X. Why not go even metalcore? I stopped listening to them on a daily basis because of the radio friendly last 3 albums.
He's definitely not bad, but people miss Adam. Some ppl need to leave Three Days Grace alone about how Matt sings because he sings perfectly good and they need to go listen to the old Live three days Grace songs or just go to Saint Asonia :/

Heh. I don't think so. Matt is at his best we sings metalcore style like in this video. However, Neil turned the band into a cursed radio friendly band (which is why Adam left) So yeah, the next one will be just another radio friendly one. You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
@@Cipher_Nine An album can still be good despite being radio friendly believe it or not. Is Neil the one that turned them mainstream? If it Is then Neil and Lars Ulrich both fall in the category of "money money money"
@@hooliganstreet yes, Adam has even said himself that he still talks to all the other members, but couldn’t care less about Neil and doesn’t have a reason to talk to him... even since Transit Of Venus Neil wanted to sell out, and once Adam left, they did just that... but i agree, an album can still be “radio friendly” and still be good, as Outsider for the most part was a very solid album, i think if they improve their production a bit this next album will be a step up from Outsider as that was even a step up from Human, which still has some good tracks on it... it’s just overall not as good as strong as Outsider
Few people in Spain know them, they was been there once, in 2014, and they don't back again, so they can't consider a comercial band. PD: I'm one of this few spanish people, and the new songs are amazing.
I love Matt’s screams! He’s not tryin’ to replicate Adam’s style, he’s bringing up his own style on new and old songs. I appreciate that, he’s and amazing singer. I’d love if TDG have a Feat with Adam singing with Matt, the anger in Matt’s voice and the sadness in Adam’s in one song would be so fuckin’ crazy
He sounds so much better here than he has in a lot of past performances, he's definitely finding his voice. Also helps the mic is whats displaying his audio so theres no reverb messng with how he sounds.

This Matt dude its on Fire, he came with FFDP to north carolina and almost blow the arena, he was the MVP of the night, my friends and I have been talking about him for 2 weeks now,, very very good !
His Live vocal performance has gotten so much better, God damn. I know he isn't Adam, nobody will ever be Adam, but fuck-- Matt does pretty great. I love his energy, and the sound he brings to the band. It's different, but that's not a bad thing. Not to mention, his screams are fucking killer, and add a great touch to the songs.
Matt is doing crazily good with some older songs! This one is pretty good! [also this song is my rington when my parents are calling, so I have nice relationship with this song] Can't wait to see them live!
I don't know why but the way Matt sings the line at 2:26 reminds me of Ben Burnley's style. And that is freakin' cool! 👍 They are both my fav singers for years 😍
Saw them live twice last year. By the 2nd time I could not be against Matt. Energy is off the charts and he really made this his own. Enjoying eating my crow
At first Matt did not seem to be filling Adam's shoes, so to speak, I think most can agree on that, but boy did that change! Just between this performance and so-called life, he is killing it, and there are many other great examples! Its not just the scream here either, which is f---ing outstanding for sure, but he did the whole song great, and this is live not studio! Those who don't see it are just blinded by nostalgia. Yeah no one can 'truly' replace Adam, or ____ from whatever band when a great singer leaves, and thankfully we don't need that, we just need someone with great talent who can help usher in the new and also bring it on the older stuff, and by God Matt is doing that! Love this guy now, it took a bit but I more than came around like most have, and you should too :)
He never did Home before, but you can find footage of him doing I Hate, Scared, Never Too Late, I Don’t Care, Pain, and probably others that I can’t think of.

I get people miss Adam, but can you appreciate that Matt came in when Adam was done, Adam and TDG wanted to go in different directions. And isn’t Matt’s three days grace better than no three days grace?
Saint Asonia was the first band I saw live and I popped when they played two of Adam's songs. I just saw Three Days Grace a week ago and ya Matt is a good replacement for Adam but it will not match Adam's emotion in these songs.
Not a big fan of 3DG but I like some songs, but I wanna say my opinion here. Cause Matt nails It! Finally I see him singing a song in his way, and you can see there's raw in his voice. Hope he tries another aproach to the old songs, cause he CAN sing.
What I think is that he should sing the old songs with his own vocal range, instead try to go into the Adam's range, cause obviously they have a different voice, and that's exactly what he is doing here, and it's amazing!
The thumbnail picture of the new singer Matt, sums up everything. "No matter how hard you try your fans will never be satisfied until you bring back Adam." Look at that pic again, ya seethw stress he's conveying in his face? That's not adrenaline, that's not passion it's not amazement, that's just straight frustration from trying to fill Adam's shoes. The band might be able to fool a bunch of people at a big festival, but not the fans who've stuck by them for 20 years.

Someone pointed that this Matt dude is actually really good (which he is) but he hasn’t matched the emotion adam had into making these songs. Which I think is true in a sense.
