Great to have Multiple Trucks on the New Course, to test out a variety of drivers, a variety of models, as well as some friendly competition between friends. What better way to spend an afternoon!? My friends Steve, and Brandon came by today to test out the new rock lines after I changed it up recently. Steve has brought his Vaterra Ascender (Dodge Power Wagon), and Brandon HAS NEVER Rock Crawled Before! In fact, he is using one of my trucks - the HPI FJ Venture, jacked up on 2.2 tires. I am running a Traxxas TRX4 Bronco.. only to discover half way through.. I am missing a drive pin in the front right tire. This makes things more difficult, but fun and exciting!

Love seeing the Dodge, toyota and Ford out there on the rocks. The gold rims on the old Dodge is beautiful look. Medic you got that Bronco looking and sounding good my friend. As a 94 Ford Bronco owner, i can appreciate a good looking RC Bronco.

The HPI was,pretty darn impressive! Much more capable than I had initially expected! Both the HPI and the Vaterra have GREAT bodies! Both of your friends did a great job for newbies, if you hadn’t mentioned it I wouldn’t have thought they were new!

There really is something troubling about people who ARE'NT addicted to watching a weighted vehicle squish their tyres over rocky edges. Great episode. 👌🏻 When you said "log", first thing I thought of was ren and stimpy. It's better than bad, it's good.

Nice friendly competition. I find the course not only difficult but also out of scale: there is too many places where the trucks hang in the middle or bang their axles... in real world they would never try that... unless they were competition Offroad trucks with rollcage! Still it seems to be fun to ride it but I would have expected a more scale course from you!!! You could slightly modifiy it by patching some holes, adding smaller rocks to bridge gaps, smoothing peaks, etc... Perhaps the next one??? Regardless of my opinion I enjoy to watch you guys having fun. Keep on good work! You are the best!

At 9:00 listening to the Dodge climbing the steep rock, sounded soo sweet! Those Cruiser bodies look great, but really can't compare to them older style trucks though.

In the last video that featured Steve's truck, you commented on how much the motor wound up so high for how slow the truck was moving. It got me to thinking back and I remembered one of the guys my dad would take us wheeling with had an extremely low first gear in his rig. It almost seemed as if the motor was going to overrev and blow to move at a walking pace. The setup made gobs of torque though. Would climb most anything the tires would stick to.

Before I comment I'd just like to note that I haven't had an rc car since Tamiya and the team associated/Losi rc10 was a big deal. Lol. MAN! RC HAS COME A LOOONG WAY. That being said, I got into the hobby back in December of 2019 and i am waiting on my 7th car (ryft). Now back to the reason I'm commenting. SOUND KITS: I don't have any as yet, but I think they are great on a crawler of trail vehicle because they seem to cover up that annoying whine you hear all the time when trying to make slow executions. Not a fan when it comes to mud bogging, bashing or track racing because the motor whine is still louder than the sound kit and kills the realism. If it sounds real and the wheel speed matches the audio... Killer! I'm so glad I got back into this hobby. I can't even explain how much it has helped me mentally and physically throughout this whole Covid thing. I know I forget to "like" Alot, but I enjoy watching your vids. Thrash on!!

As for my favorite, hard to say. I love the look and style of older trucks and that Dodge is beautiful and sounds mean as it should, and you got your Bronco sounding and looking good as well. Not much of a Toyota fan, but the FJ Cruiser stands out among the Toyota line. So I'd say my favorite is a tie between the Dodge and Bronco, they are both beautiful.

Looks like a ton of fun...I’m really surprised how the hpi handled the course ...almost with ease in some cases...but the bronco just has a look and sound about it...looks super realistic...dodge looks and sounds great! I liked very much the Dodge! After watching your nice videos I decided to buy the ESS DUAL but I don't manage to make the horn work with my Spektrum DX4C. I set the A button on the Aux1 but no DixieHorn sound that I've downloaded with RCPlus

You guys should put eggs in your crawlers and try to make it through the course without breaking them. For example as a challenge:The egg is the driver, if it breaks...RIP driver=game over. I came up with the idea watching one of your videos where you and a friend were challenging each other on one of your other courses with the seesaw, and your action figure fell out of the truck lol

NEW IDEA: Nitro engine powered rock crawlers, has that ever been attempted? Then you'd get a real frickin engine sound, no need for fake sound systems? Who gonna try that?
