Hi, the spray is actually designed to be used on clothing, just prior to ironing. Therefore, you don’t have to wait until the cap cools down and you can actually apply more steam after spraying if there are still creases. Hope this helps!

I watched a heap of videos before attempting this and people use all sorts of different items to shape the hat. You can definitely use a bowl if it’s roughly the size of a head. I used the mannequin head because it is round, but also narrow around the forehead and temple area. Saw one guy use a bucket with paper stuffed on top. Another guy just stuffed paper into the hat until it formed the shape of a head. Stretch the hat over the bowl and if you’re happy with the shape, I think it should be fine to use. @@kmbsnake5713 it in fact did not, I made the mistake of having gel in my hair. So when I wet the hat and got into the sun it then stuck to my scalp. I now wear the hat permanently kinda like how Joe dirt just left the wig on.
