Even using a comb balisong. Hurts like hell when you screw up and fling the metal or sharp comb pins straight into your knuckles lol. If i started off with an offensive blade, i would have no fingers left
David Roman one cut seems quite good lol. For instance, when i was showing my dad what i learnt from my comb balisong after just a few days using it, i went to swing it and it flew out my hands hitting him on the head. Again, thankfully it was just a comb haha
+Nick C I've had mine for a week now (it's really cheap, and that comes into play later) and the only reason that I've gotten a cut from it is because my latch fell off and I lost the pin that kept it in place. I don't have anything to put on my bite handle, so I usually just look at it to see, but I was stupid a few times. P.s. If you do end up getting an actual one, a word of warning, stabs hurt like hell
Well , my cut wasnt big deal , it was just small scratch , I know basic openings (not very well ) , and I got cheap one too , and i got same problem , my latch is going to fall because pin is not stable , so until id didnt fell off , I am going to fix it myself
Aaand ive cut myself again , strange thing is that i dont feel it , i only realised it because I saw blood on my balisong , And now I cant clean it , my blood will be there forever
+gandolf the wizard I have never used trainer, started with a pretty sharp blade, now know 90% of the tricks from thos guys channel while I cut myself only once when learning it.
Thanks SO DAMN much i got myself a balisong yesterday and in like say 2hours with your help i mastered theese moves. again thank you so much ur grate!!! simple but still shows all the main steps! awesome!!!!
I just bought a trainer so I looked at your video and the first thing I noticed was the awesome splinter cell music, also you are very good and I hope to be as badass one day. cheers!
Thanks man. Had to wade through a lot of crap to find a good beginner tutorial on this stuff. Thanks a lot for posting this, and actually breaking down the move for people who can't learn simply by watching someone do it with no instruction.
Thanks man love your videos and this has helped me get some nice basic moves down first day practicing today so going to watch this a few times get them down. Thanks :D
Nice! I figured out how to do these pretty quick, thanks! The backhand screwdriver is still my favourite move, though. Both because of its simplicity & its name.
It's a Benchmade 42. Considered by most to be the best production line of bali's out there. Sadly they're discontinued and getting your hands on one would cost like 400$...
+Vztec v1 Definitely not even anywhere close to the best production balisong out there. Maybe 6 or 7 years ago. Now there's the BRS Alpha Beast, BRS Replicant, the HOM Specter, etc.
@Skunkoon98241 Thanks for the comment man! I decided to take the music out starting like tutorial 10 or something. The tutorials do get a lot better so thanks for the comment I hope you enjoy the others!
Thank you so much man! i bought a crappy balisong (not that crappy but sorta cheap (19€)) i completely mastered the first one :D it's awesome!! now learning the other 5 ;) then i'll try the thumb rollover
The second part that you taught in this video i use, its about the only one i know how to do and i'm not even sure how i learned it but it is the easiest for me...
actually, in the last one, its not held in reverse grip, its held backhanded. reverse grip is when you hold the knfe in such a way that the edge faces upward. for example, if you were peeling an orange, you would have edge facing backwards, that is to say, towards your thumb. now, im not trying to be an ass or anything, so, my apologies if i come off that way. im just really particular about tiny little details and such.
Cool thanks for some great advice on several basic moves. The first 2 I have down flawlessly....the third one is much harder and I would not reccomend trying that one while sitting in a chair.
@3:18 the reverse out to in, I learned to do this with the safety latch closed in 1975. Start with your thumb by the latch & flicking it open first, then do the reverse out to in, & finish by using your thumb to close the latch
