What a great video! There needs to be a special place in the seventh depth of hell for people who just dump unwanted kittens and puppies in the middle of nowhere. Thankfully, there are other special, caring people like you and Chelsea. Just remember this when you invite a cat into your lives and you'll do fine: Dogs have owners. Cats have staff.

That brought a tear to my eye, good on you guys!! We had a kitty that looked exactly like her for 12 years! He was a member of the family and we dearly loved him!! He slept between us every night! LOL Two difficult procedures, then two surgeries at Cornell University, and we lost him. Take good care of her, she will bring you a lot of love and happiness!!

Honestly, besides meticulous flying, I have to say that your film making skills are awesome. The light, music, editing etc is really great. It adds about 70% to making the content more valuable. On another note, glad to see that there are now 3, although no. 3 is a little hairier. She will be happy with the two of you, I can see it clearly. Been waiting years for that right seat to find a permanent pilot/passenger. As a pilot, I know how important that is.

I have been watching your videos for some time and they are always great and informative. Having Chelsea in your videos adds a whole new dimension. Many of us don't fly with our significant other and I wish I had been able to do more of that when I was flying. It is great to see you share something you both love doing. Hopefully we will see more of Chelsea in future videos beyond the ones already recorded. In flying or in a relationship, you have to adapt to the situation. Both take careful planning and both are an awesome experience. May both be with you for a very long time.

So cool to see this! We have flown into 7M3 many times. It can be a tricky little airport, with the wind coming over the ridge. Lake Ouachita is beautiful too. Our airport is M77, not too far away. Enjoyed seeing you at Oshkosh at the AOPA area. Love the videos!!

I've taught literally hundreds of people, young and old to water ski. I watched your attempts, and right away I spotted the most common mistake made by 99% of beginners. You are pulling the rope into your chest. Don't do that. Arms straight out. Resist the urge to pull on the rope. The boat has enough power to pull you up. Let the boat do the work. As you advance to slalom, trick skis and wake boarding, then you'll will be pulling on the rope out of necessity for acceleration , braking, but always... in a deep water start... arms straight ahead, let the boat do the work. About the best analogy I can think of it would be like snatching back on the elevator, before the airplane is ready to fly. Remember... air is a fluid, just like water.

My youngest daughter and her husband bring puppies and kittens home every now and then. They live in the country and people dump them :/ Not cool. They rehome them. He has a lot of "hog dogs", they both have "house dogs", at least one cat, and my daughter has 5 horses lol It's quite a zoo there but the grandkids (2 boys) are happy and well raised so I'm happy. I remember when I first tried to water ski. Getting up and falling was exhausting. It was easier to learn how to slalom. Family time is the best... Great video. Very fun. You two compliment each other immensely.

Just wondering why you didn't use carb heat on landing? You said its warm outside so don't need it. Aren't some contributors to carb ice: low power settings, high humidity, and temps 20-70 Fahrenheit?

Good content,…good video. I spent 20 yrs flying in the military and over 16 yrs flying with a major airline. Probably fair to say I have spoken and heard any thousands of radio transmissions. Is there anyway you could please stop speed rolling “niner niner one” Simply responding with a normal ”niner” when appropriate is in accordance with the AIM and more professional.

Was working on my solo cross countries and had someone leave a Mama cat and her babies in a rental. Found a lady that had a farm and taught her cats to bring mice up to the door for a treat, that way they kept mousing instead of getting full and stopping. So we decide to ferry the cats down to her and in the process we needed to transit over Whiteman AFB. I tried contacting them and they kept telling me they were having a hard time understanding us to to a "radio squeal" We tried a diff radio, same issue, I finally lifted my head phones off and the kittens were having a fit, but we couldn't hear them with the headsets on. I told Whiteman that the issue was the cats in the back seat were not happy. They called back with a "WHAT isn't happy ?" About an hour later as we were heading back home they commented that our radio squeal had mysteriously disappeared LOL Would have loved to be a fly on the wall in that control tower.

Great job Josh....as for the water skies, not so much. Two tips that seem contradictory....first to reduce drag, get you butt out of the water quickly. To do that, use your core to plant your legs like the gear on you plane with knees slightly bent to act like shock absorbers. Having done that, stay crouched and let the boat pull you up on plane, only standing up as the skies can hold your wait. After that, cross the wake at an angle so that water does not flow over your skies.

Why do you always count out your flap setting? Are counted numbers more accurate than your indicator? Or looking over your shoulder?

Officially a student pilot here in kingman Arizona. Had my first lesson Saturday. Was in a 66 skyhawk 172. Looked like that a lot. Great planes. Love the videos bud. Keep up the great work. Always take notes when I watch

I've had a cat behind my brake pedal and clutch - be sure to keep him zipped up for safety (and the soundproofing - they are way more sensitive to sound). Even though he was calm, that can change at any time. And/or, as he gets older he'll start running around. But keep doing it! If a cat doesn't get used to something as a kitten, they may never get used to it.
