I would say this is Joes best short, definitely has some good laughs. He is often seen as a fill in and forgotten but because of him the Stooges were able to keep going in 1957 and 1958 so remember he kept Moe and Larry employed. He also always spoke very highly of Moe and Larry and when the three stooges were inducted into the hall of fame in the early 80s Joe accepted on behalf and once again spoke so highly of Moe and Larry. The guy was actually a very kind person.

Out of the Three Stooges, Joe is the only one who seems to be forgettable which is sad.

Moe and Larry appearing gentlemanly distracts from the troupe's signature comedic style. 37:12 My goodness! 💀 38:10 This happened to some friends. Shemp is my favorite stooge; but I think stooge fans are too hard on Joe. "Not so harddd..!" I think it was more of a writing problem. They did not know how to write for Joe. Shemp had writers and directors who knew how to get the best out of him. Joe did not have that.
