this is one of the greatest songs I've evere heard, it's heavy, it's melodic, it's passionate, exelent solos, exelent rythm, and about the lyrics I think they're right, sometimes we blame God for our suffering, but we are guilty of our own acts
The most astonishing thing about this masterpiece is that metaphysics in the lyrics seem to effortlessly fit into a complex and down to earth prog rock song. These lyrics can lead you right to your inner path while your body is shaking and singing rock and roll .. class!
@leox747 I'm sorry too. Damian Wilson is also a great singer, but the voice and presence of Andrew McDermott is epic, and was a very important part the signature sound of Threshold. Anyway they still being a great band like always, and I enjoy their first 3 records with Damian and Glynn Morgan also.
Psychedelicatessan is also a very underrated album, many don't know about it or have heard it, Glynn Morgan was the vocalist on it and it's got some amazing songs on it.
This is my favourite Threshold song, they have such a big influence on the way I write & play. I only wish I grew up with people that enjoy this stuff, but the few I've met who like progressive music think DT (who I think is a great band) is it, they've no clue that Threshold even exists (their loss). It's probably why I haven't been able to start a prog band, noone wants to play like them or (later) Fates Warning, they just want to show off and impress people.
