I second that comment...you have given me motivation and inspiration to get the bigger power tools out and just create something! Once you do it yourself and get the satisfaction of competing a project start to finish on your own, it is very empowering! Thank you for making videos that are easy to follow and learn from! (As a side note...my husband has usuay built the bigger blanket ladders & we just recently realized wood glue is good to use on the inside of each rung so it helps keep it together better. He would use 2 brad nails on each side of each rung & when I went to distress the ladder one rung came up attached which led to a chain reaction of them all coming off the nails! Ugh! So, we used a thicker nail and wood glued each rung inside so it would stay together better. Once you add weight to it of a blanket, you don't want the rungs coming unattached...especially if you sell them). Smaller countertop ladders won't have much weight but I'm going to use a thicker nail & glue on all mine going forward.Your work is AWESOME!!!

I love spindles!! Found a $15 table, took it apart. Ended up with 4 chunky spindles, 2 - 20in rounds, 4 spindle legs and 2 pcs of 8"x 5" wood (perfect for little signs!!!) Oh yeah, mama got this!!!

I agree color of old wood was perfect. Steel wool & Vinegar make a great gray stain. Try that next time.

Love watching your videos. You’re very talented and creative. Your thrift flips are my favorite. I cannot believe you craft and build things while wearing your beautiful rings. I had a jeweler ask me if I cleaned house in my Sunday best clothes...and of course I said no. Then he told me I shouldn’t clean house with my rings on! Lol!

I am somewhat of a chair hoarder as I refinish/paint furniture for a living) & I never thought about taking them apart, using the spindles/legs/backrests off of them to create the boxes & pieces you've shown! I have 6 chairs that are smaller than the average chair (antique but would make perfect pieces to repurpose) & I don't want to sell them or paint them...so I think I will disassemble and chop them up to use for parts! Brilliant Julie! Thank you!!

Julie....oh my....I LOVE ALL THREE ❤️❤️❤️. How I wish you shipped items like what you made ! Those risers, the small ladder and YOUR spindles boxes..... not the mention ALL YOUR OTHER ITEMS ! Hurry up and get bigger and hire a shipper ...LOL!!! BUT I understand busy, kids, house, etc.... I tried sewing items and got overwhelmed with orders and it took the fun out of it quickly...
