My son lived in Maine. I went to visit and fell in love with that state. I would have moved there if he stayed. I also wish I could live off grid. Love the woods and love crafting. You are so blessed.
I have a booth and have been starved for ideas to make some unique, one of a kind items. Wow have you been a godsend! Love all your creative ideas. LOVE your projects! I just have one suggestion. When you use Mod Podge, put the Mod Podge on the item and not on the tissue paper. Then carefully layer the tissue paper and smooth it out (some people use a layer of plastic wrap to do this) then you can carefully put a coat of Mod Podge on top…. Or wait until the project dries. Works much better for me….. especially large projects.
Maine is the only state that I want to visit before I die...I've been begging my husband for years for us to take a road trip there so I can see it. We also want to live off grid...You're one lucky lady and your diy's are always so amazing.

I make quite a bit ahead of the stain because I use it often. I use: 4 oz of Waverly Antique Wax 6 oz of water 1 tsp of black paint (lately, I have been using folk art black, but whatever you have on hand, I think will work) Make sure to stir, shake, or mix before using. * The more water you use will make the stain lighter, and the less you use will be darker. You may want to try samples on wood to see what shade you like. I hope that helps. Thank you for watching😀
