I live in Portland and have been to the bins a couple times since they reopened. I actually like them better than before! In addition to mask and glove requirements they limit the number of people in the store and require that only one person is allowed per bin. So you don’t have people all over in your personal space which I appreciate. Also it is quieter because no small children are allowed. I don’t mind kids at all but sometimes it can get really loud and echoing in there!

Great haul Courtney! My husband and I popped into a Goodwill today not expecting much because they had a sale yesterday and I got a NWT Peter Millar vest and Nwt J Crew fur coat and a couple other things and it made me happy. I have some freebies from friends but its nice to go get a couple new things that you love! Thanks for sharing!🍒🍋🍒

Courtney, you found some good things! I have done well with Roberta Roller Rabbit as well. Darn about forgetting to use the coupon, I did the same recently. At Chicago area Goodwills on the 15th of the month It s customer appreciation day and you get a discount and a coupon to use two days later on a return visit. So I actually went back to use the 20% off total purchase coupon. I got flustered at checkout because of the new rules they had in place due to Covid; the clerk wouldn’t touch the stuff, he wanted me to hold it up, he scanned it, then I bagged it. Threw me off, totally forgot to use that coupon! Realized it on my way home! And I spent over $100!

You find the coolest things. I'm going to have to explore some different thrift stores to see if I can anything other than Loft, Ann Taylor, Target brands, Old Navy, and mall brands. I like to have a few cool, funky curveballs to liven up my closet. Loved the bright blue leather skirt - super cool. Our Goodwills have flat fees by type of clothing so not colored tags, %'s off, etc. Some of the thrift stores have 50% off certain types of clothing and they will mark up cocktail dresses to double the normal dress price. I haven't been out yet as I'm still on crutches - hopefully Friday I get the go ahead to go sans the crutches though it is a bit intimidating as well. Hope you have a lovely Sunday!
