Bonjour Paula! Your coffee cake looks very delicious and I will definitely make it. However, I was a bit confused with the recipe at first, as ‘Coffee’ cakes here in France actually contain coffee!! Am I correct in thinking that an American coffee cake is one usually eaten with a cup of coffee? I really enjoy your channel and you have indeed found some interesting items at the thrift store, The Limogé plates were a great find! During several visits to stay with my son and daughter in law in Utah, I have been very lucky to find many gems at the thrift and consignment stores. On the first occasion we had to buy an extra case to take everything back to France! Merci Paula!

Think of it this way. If you're using room temp butter, your eggs should also be room temp for them to combine more easily. Cold eggs could actually congeal the butter.

Good morning Paula! Your chickens could hold extra long toothpicks, not cocktail toothpicks, but extra long wooden ones I found on Amazon. I have mine next to the stove as cake testers. They will look so pretty as whatever you choose to use them as. Great video as always!

My simple pleasure is a home baked cookie with herbal tea in one of my floral Starbucks teacups in the evening. I have a stash of cookies that I made over the holidays in my freezer.

Another night I can’t go to sleep because I had caffeine to late in the day. I enjoyed having tea with you. It looks yummy and I wonder what kind it was. I use to make this coffee cake but with a little different twist. I used instant vanilla pudding along with similar ingredients and it came with my Bundt pan. Yum. 💚💚those little green chicken vases and they are adorable. They look to big for toothpicks and the wrong shape for an egg cup. I have collected chickens things over the years. And I also collect tea pots and your pot is beautiful.💜💜 I did a purple/ lavender vignette this year for Valentine’s Day. Violets are the February flower so that’s what I used instead of red or pink. You are creative and your tea table is beautiful and your coffee cake must smell wonderful to your fur babies so I hope you gave them a little taste. Thank you.

Those Limoges plates are amazing! I would have been doing a happy dance 💃 at the store. I remember that coffee cake. I haven’t made it in years and if I have enough sour cream in the refrigerator I will be making that today. I have been craving something sweet. I loved all your finds and the little green hens were perfect vases for the tea party. Were those Pfaltzgraff cups and saucers? Another fun video.

Yes . I use the King Arthur brand of flour also. Yes i love coffee cake . I’ll be trying this recipe out as I’ve been wanting to try making a coffee cake for a long time .

Great morning to you. I'm watching at 5:00 am. I love your items from your thrift adventure, especially the green holders. A tea party is so fun. I enjoy baking and I made vanilla extract too. It's not ready yet. How long do you let it set before use. Mine has been setting in a dark place since last June. I shake the bottles each day. Anyway enjoy
