Just found your channel… It’s so WONDERFUL how many young women are getting into vintage. (Yes I’m old) but I started in my 20’s. I still love thrifting particularly for the old stuff.
Hi, fun channel! You found some wonderful things. As far as the tiny "butter pats", they are actually individual ashtrays, believe it or not! Back in the day those were used at place settings for things such as coffee or tea after dinner. Enjoyed your haul.
I remember Belleville Illinois when my dad was stationed at Scott AF base many years ago. There was Town square in the middle of the town. Fire king ware came out of the soap powder box! Wish it still happen. What a great haul!,,
Just found your channel, love all the treasures you found especially the green McCoy bowl! I'm from Southern Illinois and have been to the Belleville flea market - can't wait to get back 🙂. Thanks for sharing 🙂❤️
Just found your channel and was thrilled to find you enjoy my regular thrifting/antiquing circuit! I’m from the Metro east and visit all the same stores. How fun!
I am new to your channel and I like what I see! I love anything antique. I would like to see a tour of your house if possible. I have been antiquing for over thirty years and am slowly liquidating my collections since I am getting up in age and my two sons are not into antiques. Your “chunky “ butter pats look like restaurant ware. Keep up the good work!
Mandy, just found your channel!O.M.G.!! You have a great flare.I love that picture frame..quite unique.I love boxes as well. That one was different& would make a great display.Your style is so neat& interesting. Keep it coming I am hooked.🥰👍🧞♀️💞☮🌴🐣🐥
My first time at your channel and I figure so sweet and you got amazing things!! I think those little floral dishes at the end might be part of a set of personal ashtrays. Can use them for anything, so pretty!!
The three little dishes with the roses in the middle are individual cigarette dishes . If u look close there is a place to lay the cigarette. Maybe they were made for the dinner table for each individual. Not sure about that. People use to set and have a cigarette after dinner.
Hey Mandy, happy I found your channel. I live in NW AR. 😊 I just found my first butter pats this week. So exciting! They were the chunky green & white, wish they would’ve been all white…🤷🏻♀️
Awww YAY!!! Isn’t it exciting!!!! You will soon the whole butter Pat hype is coming to an end so hopefully soon people will be getting rid of them and moving in to the next thing ♥️♥️ then we can collect them all 😍😍🤣🤣
Such an amazing haul, Mandy!! Love it all! My favorites are the camera, the frames and the transferware. I collect transferware as well, but I collect all the colors :) Blessings! Rachel
New to your channel and looking forward to watching more videos. I love vintage but mostly color glass. I was they same way with bone dishes (the semicircle dish) as you are with the butter dishes. I don’t have a purpose for them but I love them. I’m just a collector/hoarder of old things now but will sell in the future.
So fun! Glad I just happened to find your channel. I’m very familiar with the places you mentioned and shopped around the Belleville area. Made me laugh about your Savers story. There are things I’ve seen patrons pick up that I wanted SO bad and wandered around hoping they changed their mind and put it down. Love, love, love the Belleville Flea Market! My hubby retired out of Scott AFB and my mom lives in Belleville. My obsession is milk glass. We all got somethin’, don’t we 😀 You got some really great stuff!
Hi! You popped up in my feed and I’m so glad! I’ve been wanting to find relatively new thrifting channels. Your haul was awesome so, needless to say, I subscribed! 💃🏼 😊
Mandy….What incredibly unique and excellent taste you have…..It takes a special “Eye” to appreciate the “Patina”….of older….probably (well-loved) items like you do….Your personality shines through!….Best Wishes!
Just wondering if the smallest oval trays with the scooped edge is a ladies ash tray for her to use when out, so she can knock the ash off into the bowl and not onto the floor.
Mandy, I just found your channel and I loved this video! Great haul, especially the green restaurant ware butter pats at the end. I have a set of the restaurant dinner plates and salad plates (Buffalo and Sterling) will be on the look out for the butter pats now. Also, agree Amanda's Mercantile is another fun channel to watch!
Wow, you got some really amazing things, so, so beautiful, I just can’t get enough of old stuff 😜 my husband unfortunately isn’t a big fan so I try to sneak stuff in whilst he’s at work lol 😆 x
I’m from Arkansas (Hot Springs) & would LOVE to know about some of these places! I’m planning a solo thrifting adventure, soon, and need to map out my stops! 😂

@@MandysOldSoulVintage I come from good seed my mother just followed the wrong path. And boy did she fall downhill. Head over heels. Trials and tribulations were mighty difficult as a child. But there's one thing that I learned. Make do or do without. One man's trash is definitely going to be my treasure. My husband's family assumed, because I didn't have the greatest parents, I was a terrible person. I will never forget my husband's mother walking into our home at the very first time, she finally accepts my offer. She walked in in her jaw dropped. This is a southern woman. Very comfortable in life if you can catch my drift. She couldn't believe some of the antiques that I had. She said my goodness did you buy all this. I said thrift store, one man's trash is definitely going to be my treasure. I can see the anger in her face start to lift. She most certainly did not want to be there. And our first two and a half minute greeting was very uncomfortable. I had a lovely sign that I painted and put on the wall, make do or do without. She stopped and read this, and turned quickly. Where'd you get that, did you buy that? I said no ma'am I made that. She said I have a sign in my house I made. Almost just like this. You didn't buy it you made it? Yes ma'am. It's truly sad I never had a good relationship with her. Unfortunately, she's as old as my grandmother. And dementia started to set in within the beginning of our relationship. She hated me through and through. But in moments, within her dementia she actually thought I was my husband's EX. His sisters used to think it was so funny and insulting to me. Nope not at all. I really treasure those moments. I allowed her to call me a name that wasn't me. I allowed her to explain stories that never existed. I allowed her to get cheerful and laugh and excited and hug me. Because, no matter what, no matter how much I was like her. No matter what I did I could never stand in her eyes as someone that truly would love and take care of her son. My husband and I are coming up on 22 years together. 19 years married. We had a shotgun wedding. My grandmother and his mother, both my husband and I being charged with late withdraw. To be polite. My husband would get upset with me when I would call it that. Finally after 22 years together I said go ahead and Google that and look up the definition. Few seconds later he looks at me and goes oh my goodness we had a shotgun wedding 😅 hahahahahahahahahhahaaah. Yes yes indeed we did. And in the very end of her life. Being called a name that was not my own, the laughter and happiness she had in her eyes when I would greet her. The excitement when I would find a precious item that she didn't have in her collection. Her daughter's mocking me and making fun of it. What Joy it brought to my heart. Finally comfortable in her presence. It's okay. I needed that in the end. I've never hated anyone in my life. Not even my stepfather who raised me with an iron fist. And I definitely didn't want that woman to leave this world, with seething loathing hate from me. I almost feel like God blessed her, tapped her on the head and said okay forget about her pretend like it's her. Enjoy. Thank you God I surely did.
First time I saw your channel. I love your enthusiasm and your love for vintage. So many great treasures you found.Cant wait to watch you again. What is your Etsey store name?
You did good girl! I have a green bowl like you found many years ago at a yard sale! You want believe this but I paid only .50! The people didn't know what they had! I love finding bargains!
Just came across you as well and you and I have the exact same taste!! It’s crazy! Anyway. I am interested in the very small oil lamps from this video. Are they available?
Hi! Just subscribed to your channel… I have an “old, destroyed, vintage radio”… but I can’t quit remember if you said what color you wanted. Actually I have 2…a White/Cream and a Brown one if you’re interested. I have no clue how to message you any way than leaving a comment. New to RU-vid. Love your Haul!
