Great video! I went to tech school at Kessler in 2004! I live on the Gulf Coast. When I visit the Biloxi/Gulfport to play at the Casinos I will drive onto Kessler just to take a look around.
You would probably like Scott’s Antique Flea Market that is around Atlanta. It’s only open 1 weekend a month. I haven’t been, but a friend of mine has been several times. They take a Uhaul trailer when they go. Google it to find out when it is open.
Hi Mandy I just found your channel I’m so happy, your taste is right up my alley , and Green is my favorite color too! Love all your ironstone, I’m also a dealer , I'm in North Georgia “ Dahlonega “;if you’ve never been to North Georgia we have tons of greats shops / malls I’m talking probably 30-40 I go to! And real old stuff , one shop in particular in Dahlonega comes to mind it’s called No.3 vintage TONS of ironstone, chippy old primitive furniture/ cupboards etc “ not the cheapest place “ but if your looking for a special piece it’s the place! Now I’m going to binge watch your videos lol, Todd
Monroe GA is called the antique capital of Ga. It’s a small town, but has 5 or 6 antique malls. These are extremely large stores that could take you a few days to get through all of them.
If you ever get the chance to come down to the Tampa area or really within an hour of it, to any of the smaller towns just outside of it.. bring a uhaul!!! I'm just 30-40 outside of Tamps..I've tried to count all the thrift & antique stores within an hour, can not even count them all😮 I just keep finding more & more on line, don't even know where to start! There's 10 thrift stores in my little town & 11 in the next little town 10min up the road, not including antique stores😳 I can shop a couple stores every day for months!! Lol its little crazy!! Back home we had quite a few antique stores around, but other than the thrift store we owned & a very sad Good Will that was basically just clothing, the were just a couple really snake small thrift stores.. shop them all in one day 🤷♀️ I love collecting pieces from the regency/Victorian era, obsessed with that pin cushion!! I have the antique black & gold singer marchine too so i like finding cool things to place around it too! And OMG...all the lady figurines & that red transfer ware creamer that was there by them!! Love❤ Love terra cotta & love collecting the mini ones! Really cute to place around in different ways with plants & flowers! My porch was always covered with potted plants & flowers, so i had to have decor too😉😁 The store with all the terra cotta had tons of treasures!! Def my kind of store, i would be shopping there often😊 Girl i saw soooo many things I loved, in the second store too, it was cool!! We go thru Valdosa every so often, maybe i'll get the chance to ck it out!! What is her daughters channel under? And what part of Florida?? If its nearby i'll definitely ck her out!! I pray we have at least one it two nights in winner i can wear my uggs🙏🏻 I have so many cool winner boots from living in TN.. Im keeping them tho so when we visit, i definitely want to visit in fall & winter!! I love my uggs & my ugg platform slippers are my fav shoes to wear🫤 The ones with bows are sweet! Yesss.. show us all the things!! Girl I shop for clothes, she & accesories as well, that's where i get lots of my clothes😁 Love the port & sherry pieces, they'll be cute styled together! Never seen them except on line. I googled them.. they are "Royal Victoria Wade ceramic barrell decanters", they are vintage from the late 50's-early 60's. Keep the stand! But do A google Lens search on them!! I love the lamp shade, it almost look like a vintage tiffany shade.. another piece you should google Lens, could be a little gem😉 I collect old lamps & the smaller ones are harder to find cool, old shades for. She's gorgeous! The tin looks like a old snuff can. Ohh the tiny wisk broom is precious! Same..i don't pick up ducks or chickens unless they're special! But I do love the hen on nest! That's A neat duck & i love wood! Cool money box too. Girl if you don't keep the little green cabinet you're crazy!!! I LOVE it!!❤ i actually have a tall narrow one, about 2'-3', with chicken wire doors & looks like the same color too, that my daughter gave me, the would match so good!! One door needs a new hinge, but they are so sweet!! Really cute on A kitchen counter top! You need A step back cupboard for your pantry!! But one of the old ones.. mine is from 1870. It would be Perfect for a panrty! The newer ones have Glass doors On top, the old ones are solid wood, which is what you'd want I'm sure! If you look them up, look up the 18th century ones or early 19th century. I use the top of mine for decor, the doors are off because a hinge in broken but i want to put them back on & leave open to hang things on. The bottom part of mine is just one big space, no shelf..i store quite a few blankets there, they're really nice sized pieces. Mine is Chippy black, but I've seen green, gray & a deep rusty red color. Green is my fav color Too, wish mine was green🤤 They would go great with your hutch too! Not gonna lie, they can be very pricey, but you can also find a good deal! I saw several green ones on 1st dibs. But honestly I was very fortunate & blessed, mine was given to me.. or i most likely wouldn't own it 🫤! I saw a couple in antique stores in Tennessee that weren't priced too badly. But I'll be praying with you that you find your perfect piece!🙏🏻 & you will!! I totally enjoyed! I blab & get really chatty when i enjoy😄 In very interested to know that ladies channel from here in Florida & where her booths are located.. so hope to hear from you on that! Have A blessed week!!😊
Girllll…I think you should keep Port for a pop of color and sell SHERRY!! 😉😉😉😂🤣 I know someone who would need that! Hint Hint! I mean…it’s already got my name on it! 🙏
😂🤣😂🤣 the Sherry one is even more stained and it’s green my favorite color so I don’t know lol but you will be the first to know if I do sell it it’s yours ❤❤❤
I’m a new subscriber I love your channel looking forward to seeing more videos. Great treasures! I’m the same I have metal rack for my pantry looking for an antique hutch.

Come out and visit Rusty Peach..At Spenceville in Moultrie Georgia also Alan Antique it’s the same place.. located at Spenceville in Moultrie, Georgia..a lot of great vendors..open 9-1 every Saturday….
Have you been to Douglas GA yet? There is a few places there, but you probably need to call and find out what days they are open. I think they have like a once a month flea market type thing too.
@MandysOldSoulVintage Madison and Monticello in Florida there is some places. It's not really that far from Valdosta. I know the stores in Madison are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
I trained at Keesler for my initial careerfield as a pipeline and trained there again for another careerfield as permanent party. Brings back some nostalgia.
My first time to watch this channel I am a reseller and constantly trying to learn. The first item you found and were so excited about- I had no clue what it was or why you liked it so much. You are so sweet and are so passionate about your finds but would be nice if perhaps you could educate the rest of us. Thanks!
Like I told you earlier, we're in the process of moving also. We went out Saturday evening exploring around town.. girl there's lots of thrift stores here! A huge habitat restore with a huge thrift store right beside it & another in the same strip of buildings..10 trust stores within 6mi of my sons home!! Plus one of the small towns just 10mi up The road has 12 thrift stores😮 Of Course there's 2 more little towns close by, then Tampa is just 30-40min away, i know there's a huge antique mall there & no telling how many thrift stores.. lol I'm overwhelmed already!🤪😂 I'm going to the habitat first & ck out the furniture & ck the big thrift store next door. I think ill just do a new one each time😁 Susan from the "Old So & So" lived in the little town next to us & sent me a list of the ones she always shopped so those will be next😉 Lol Let's ck out what you found!! Lol🫣😄 Mmm saw lots of goodies!! Great pieces! The bookends are huge! Love the Copper pot❤ Don't find too many with the lids. I much rather keep the patina on both brass & copper. Same..i love the true old Primitive, antiques & old vintage pieces. The Good Will & the bins are about 15-20 min, and there's a couple more a little further. But I'm ok with that, with all these other places to shop😊Especially with the way Good Will has been jacking up their prices.. hopefully having all these it stores, I'll find at least a few good ones! Thanks for taking us along!!😊
I love watching your videos! So thank you🥰 Quick question! I am a fairly new ironstone collector and although I love the stained pieces, I've been collecting pieces that are white. The reason behind that is I'm hoping that I can use them. I haven't done that yet SO.. Is it safe to use non-stained pieces? You seem to have the most experience of ironstone & I'd like to get your advise. Also, is pfaltzgraft (sp?) Ironstone? Thank you so very much! 🥰❤️ I hope you, your family and everyone here on YT has a wonderful, joyfilled & safe July 4th and we all take a moment to think about why we celebrate & what went in to the United States being independent. God bless you all!🥰🇺🇲🎆🎇🙏❤️
If you come back to Florida check out Webb’s Antique Mall exit 414 on I-75 Lake City. It’s really big with lots of pretties. It’s about 5 miles from my house. True antiques. Over 400 vendors
@MandysOldSoulVintage there used to be a couple down there. There used to be a place up there, it's like a huge warehouse. It seems it was like a resale place that benefited some organization. I remember they had huge bags of coffee beans! You just have to explore around and I'm sure the locals can tell you more.
I enjoyed. Excellent video. My vote is for you to go to Atlanta and attend antique auction. Find large auction and one that has sale once a month or week. Would make great video. Alot of times the bigger the pain to buy and transport the better the deal. Few have trucks or trailers, so they skip over the best buys. These local stores have overhead which I try to avoid. My mom, while alive, would look for largest items and highest price She once bought hand carved monkey wood horse which everyone else missed because it showed off lower price items and was difficult to move. You're doing great. Please continue. These only suggestions.
Thank you to you and your family for your service . I think it must be neat ( looking at the bright side of moving so much ? ) you get to collect so many beautiful things because you get to travel so much ❤
