I just started looking after my grandmother's OM-10. I bought some batteries and film and ready to study film photography! She had a few good lenses and the filters that you mentioned in the video... I didn't realize how much stuff she had for just taking pictures. She even developed the film herself. She passed away 21 years ago!
I found the same kit with two lenses and the piece that plugs into that 3.5mm socket at the front of the camera. Even came with the same straps you have and the same flash. Cost me $15 at the Salvation Army earlier this year.
I bought my OM10 with the shutter speed adapter and 6 lenses. The lenses are what first attracted me and thought it would be a stop gap until I bought an OM1. I ended up liking the camera so much that I’ve never upgraded. I’ve used Mike Backus more than once for older cameras, the one that springs to mind is my Zorki 4K. Good video.
Nice find, I love the OM system. I have and OM1n and an OM2s and a small collection of lenses, its a really unique system, especially if you get one of the single digit models. The lenses are excellent, I have adaptors for some of my digital bodies. The prices are going up, especially on e-bay. Cheers!
My friend, when you get a bag of camera like that for $10, especially in Olympus brand, you don't test anything in shop. You pay, cash and run out toward home, when at your own leisure time you open up the bag and "Admire" not "Test" (Of whatever is in that bag). Have fun and good fine.
I have an OM10, that always worked, but remained off and not used for many years .. I changed the batteries after many years, but when I switch on, nothings happens. Battery not detected .. no oxidation and batteries are new. Mechanical parts are ok. Any idea or suggestions to fix it by myself? Thanks
Double check if battery contact is really touching the cell. carefully lift the clip inside to displace some volume inside the compartment.I had the issue in some of my other cameras, but be careful if you try this.
