I love the thrift store flips! I hope you do more of them! Of all the storage shed auctions, dumpster diving, yard sale, thrift store flips I've watched thrift store finds are what I think would work best for me. Thanks for the tutorials! Still can't figure out how to find the sold listings on ebay, but I'll get there!

Unfortunately ALL the thrift stores ( Salvation Army, Goodwill, etc. have VERY bad selection and are over priced.) I live 60 miles north of Scranton in Binghamton. LOVE your thrift store videos. You always look at unusual stuff no one looks at. Just found 120 Skylanders figures in the bagged toys for $4.99 for each bag of 4-5 figures. Worth at least $5 bucks for each figure and some for crazy money.

We have a thrift store here that is run by a bunch of rich Senior Citizens, that store is so beautiful just like walking into a boutique! It even has a Crystal Chandelier.

I used to but I live in uk it cheaper to buy new but I might give it a try again after watching you. I have found a lot of good things at carboot sale. We have them. Anyone can sell there things and you never know what you could find. I have a lot of buttons lol

@9:06 If this was new and still sealed in its original package, the Henry Memory Sounds Game would've sold for around $120. As such, the highest sold listing I've found on eBay was around $75 and the lowest was around $35. Great flip potential.

I buy the cheap lots of toys and keep them in a tote. I sell them at the flea market 50 cents or 3 for a dollar. Not a huge profit but the kids bring their parents in and 9 chances out of 10 they also buy a higher dollar item along with the toys.

@7:43 Someone paid $50 for the Dinobones Board Game on eBay. If it's listed right on eBay, this item's worth buying for flipping. Just make sure that when you buy it that before you list it you check to make sure that all of the pieces are in the game.

I collect cast iron. I wouldn't waste my time on the cast iron snowmen 5:48 it is Not vintage but new - you can tell just by looking at it and more than likely not made in the USA which are (in my opinion) are better quality.

Find the things that sell extremely QUICK ... buy them on your credit card ... make the money and then pay off the credit card :)

@3:48 Shopkins plush toys have sold on eBay for as high as $25 in lots of 3, so depending on what the thrift store is asking (probably about $4-5 per toy), I'd probably wouldn't buy it for a flip because you won't see that much of a profit margin.

Search in eBay under Lot of or Huge Lot - New listings - buy it now - You can catch some good deals that are just listed before everyone gets a chance to see them..Take your time and research the items before you buy but you'll find some great things :)

Ebay takes a 10% cut of your sales. PayPal take a 3% cut of your payments just like a credit card company. What you pay them is based on your sales.

if you ever get time you should check out curiosity inc's channel. his latest adventure is buying a hoarders house (with several generations of stuff under the hoard), complete, house land etc. because of the amount of work needed he got a great deal. LOTS of valuable stuff and what will eventually be a great property. i haven't seen any collaborations but i'm only new there. henry.

I miss Ohio There were great Thrift stores in Columbus Where I once lived many years ago. Where I live now, not so easy to find good stuff. But with the advice you just gave about ebay I may be able to find something worth selling. What percentage of cost of ebay sold item should you use as a rule of thumb to buy from the thrift store. I assume as far below ebay cost as possible. But at what price below ebay cost would you not buy the item?

Tired of traveling all over the state's , an tired of doing the trade, electrician by trade, its gotten old, but it has its high points an the body is getting worn out.

Why wait? Try the thrift store idea on a limited basis on a day off just for fun. You don't have to buy anything but you could polish your looking up on Ebay-sold-lowest-highest chops and see how many thrift stores you have in an easy drive around you.

Still you do not get your money from Ebay sales nowadays..they keep it and one has to pray 30 days it will come....or did they change .....

If you have a new account and our new seller, PayPal will hold your funds until your item is shipped to the buyer. This is a security measure to make sure you actually ship the item. Then the funds are released. Think of it as an escrow account when buying and selling a house. A couple months in and that stops. You are established and you have access to all your funds immediately.

just my opinion but when pricing you shouldn't search highest to lowest sold, it could be pulling high prices from months or years ago, to get current prices filter "most recent" too see what they most recently sold for :)

EBay doesn't show you years ago sales... It only showed you the most recent in the past weeks

Last year I was doing good on selling then I messed up and sent two expensive items to the 2 wrong people ate up all my prophets I was actually in the hole 40.00 bucks because both people demanded refunds instead of waiting for me to reship the items and then they refused to send me the items back so that really stunk i tried to fix it but both were pretty mad so I just sent them the refunds I could understand though it was close to Christmas and by the time they shipped them back and I send them out wouldn't have made it back to them at christmas!

I have a question about eBay listing,I wish I could attend your training session but it's too far away,I'm in Canada. I listed some items and forgot to put worldwide shipping,only domestic, I went back to revise it and it wouldn't revise?..why?

The only reason that I can think of is that the items that you are selling are restricted from being sold in other countries. Sometimes this is due to copyright laws, tariffs and other restrictions. BUT without seeing your specific issue, I can't give you a 100% correct answer :) Hope this helps :)

Went out on my adventure yesterday and ended up eating the sidewalk. I was caring stuff I bought and this ladies dog tripped me. Broke everything I had just bought plus hurt both shoulders and a knee. No more adventures for a few days can't hardly move right now.
