One of my FAVE THRIFT TRIPS EVER 😭 watch till the end to see how I make the $10 chairs look SO AESTHETIC + EXPENSIVE 😍 comment your fave home find below!!
I am truly impressed by your ability to find potential in thrifted items, and also carry through with projects so we can see how it's done. You are so versatile! Also, we love you and support you and your family in this hard time ❤
I read the Book of Virtues to my children. The stories are classic and teach good values. It brought me joy to see it again. I hope you can read it to your girls one day.😊 loved all the inspiration!😊
LOVED this thrift flip 🩷🩷 My favorite thing was the beautiful books you found… will definitely be keeping my eyes on the lookout the next time I go thrifting!
Such. A. Great. Video!!! First of all I loved that you inserted all the inspo pictures besides your finds and gave styling suggestions. Also, what a score on those stools and very informative tutorial on how to renew them. ❤️
Ok, I know I’m older, but I can’t understand why all you young people have to have everything white! No color!! Funny how each generation is so different! I look back at the 1970’s colors and think, OMG!! 😂😂 People had avocado appliances in the kitchen, what they were thinking! My mom had those colors!
I just moved into a brand new house. The walls are beige, cabinets/trim are cream. I wanted a serene, restful space but what I got is ‘boring’. Now I’m adding COLOR! (I’m 70.)
Wow ur so good at thrift store DIYs! it’s impressive how hands on and creative you are!! I need ur open mind when I go to a thrift store but I never see the potential in things cus they look old! Lol it’s a skill to do what u do!!!
gurl thrift treasures !!! i am loving these long videos. i forgot to comment that below on the last video, but there's times i am doing chores and i just let your videos playing in the background ( i have fun doing these chores more but i always look forward another one of your videos!!!) Also i love finding so many home decor at the thrift. if you ever want to take a look i vlog at the thrift all the time !!! and in my videos i love sharing my finds also :D it would seriously make my day !!!
That Salvation Army store is huge!! Love your thrift videos! You found some really cool stuff. The best pieces of home decor in my house are the ones I thrifted. I do that book trick and it looks so nice. I must be old fashioned because I love physical books so I'm the one buying them to read too. 😊 Hope you and your family are doing ok. ❤❤
Yes it’s such a big one! And my fave home pieces are always the thrifted ones too 😍 thank you for asking 💙 we’re doing as good as can be right now. Doing things I love like this helps ❤️❤️
This video is so helpful. I especially love how you provide inspirational images for finds at the store. I'm so amazed at how close the inspirational images look compared to the thrift find! Really helps to give us ideas and shows that you can find inexpensive pieces at the store rather than defaulting to buying new. I also love the quality of your video in terms of being informational, talking and being concise, and the great shots that shows us how to do your diy's. I can tell you put a lot of effort in your videos. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much with all the inspo, I loved all the amazing treasures that you find! Also I want to ask about mugs, recently I watched a video saying it is not safe buy mugs or hardware bc it might have lead, is anyone who can orient me on the topic, thank you!!!!🫶🏼🥰🙏🏼
The chairs turned out awesome!! I can’t believe your husband didn’t see how amazing they are. I want to know if he changes his mind now!! They look awesome where they are
I have that dresser from the thrift store 😊 I sanded it down and painted it white chalk with some gray tones in it to match my Ashley farm style head board Changed the knobs it matches perfect ! Love your chairs you did sooo good
I make jewelry and I use those glass plates and catch alls for separating my beads while use them to make pieces. Its so much more elevated than just a box or old bowl. I think you may have been able to use the striped pieces on the chair seats and the solid for the backs. They did turn out awesome, especially for the price ! Good grab !
Loved watching you thrift home decor! I sometime enjoy thrifting home items more than clothes since I don’t have to try them in and worry if they fit. The chairs came out great and can’t wait to see the rest of your haul!
"My apothecary table!" 😂 I was so skeptical like your hubby about the stools lol! Great job! Matches your stuff beautiful! Also like how you show "potential lookalikes" sidebars in your vids. Just subscribed! BTW your Salvation Army is amazing!! My area of the country doesn't have nearly nice one. I used to live in Florida and remember one like that. I wish they would revamp all of them *sighs*
New subscriber here. I love watching videos on thrifted items. I appreciate your tutorial on the chairs and where to find fabric. I just found two chairs on the street. They're in good condition, but I don't like the fabric, so guess where I'm going! Those martini glasses, BTW, would make great dessert cups. Each year I make a rhubarb sauce (like an applesauce), put it in martini glasses, and then top it off with yogurt or whipped cream. I also use a square dish as a spoon rest. Traditional spoon rests are usually not very attractive, and they're too small if you need to put down two spoons when you cook.
