Loved this video. That last shirt Peter tried on (the one that looks like potted pot!) is great on him. The "1920s" dress is perfect on you, and it looks wonderful with that jacket you popped on over it as well. That romantic "taupe-y" dress is also gorgeous. You always find such wonderful things, which is why I'm so looking forward to the arrival of my frock box (next week!). Give Peter a big hug. He's a really good sport.

Peter is just as fun as you are, Addy. I've been thrifting at my favorite store, Community Thrift Store, here in Tampa, FL. I usually just go when everything is 50% off. I get tons of stuff. OOO. I love the yellow jacket. I got a great travel purse/bag. I'm using it as a purse. It fits lots of things in it. Your store has a lot of fabric. My Sally's (Salvation Army) as my sister calls it, does not have that much fabric. So sad. I'm so happy for you two because you both like to thrift and can have fun doing it together. I haven't been able to post anything on my very small channel because I have not had the time as a teacher who was just given more responsibilities and have to complete a course. I love that your hubby joined you, so fun. Thar jacket he got looks so great on him. You got some amazing things. My local thrift store is very thin on dresses and has more tops. The men's section here is pretty slim pickings but I have found some gems in there.
I went to a local thrift shop today and it was slim pickings! I'll try another one tomorrow. you've given me SO much inspiration to start sewing again!

I loved every single piece you found! After finding your channel recently, you inspired me to go thrifting again. I’m trying to be sustainable and not to buy pieces I’m not in love with as have full wardrobe! I’ve started shopping at thrift stores when I was 13 and for many years my wardrobe was 90% thrifted. I feel like clothes manufactured even just few years ago have so much more quality to them, my goal is to rotate my existing clothes more and have more fun, and add few ‘new’ thrifted pieces now and then.

I rarely go shopping with my hubby. If I do, he becomes my stylist. He does a good job which is funny. I find good tees and shirts in the mens department. Your hubby knows thifting
I am so impressed with your second hand stores in the US. Here in the UK they are all so tiny and crowded. It is much harder to browse in them. I loved layering clothes when I lived on the mainland. I really miss that. But, here in Hawaii, we don't layer clothing, except for the light layering of a jacket or sweater during our colder months. You have some great ideas.

I do think that there are less men's secondhand clothing available, but I also think it is because women buy men's clothing (guilty as charged) to style for themselves and to purchase for family, spouse, etc.
