Craft with me! In my last holiday decor video, I had one too many projects going on... so I thought I'd make these two remaining projects into their own Collage Christmas special!
This time, I'm flipping two Nutcracker candlesticks from Goodwill and finishing up some basic wood ornaments from the craft store that have been sitting unfinished at my parents' house for AGES. My favorite blend of collage and acrylics should bring these from blah and basic to fresh and festive!

Your workshop room is so amazing. Every time I see it in the background of your videos, I’m blown away. The ornaments turned out really cool, and will definitely be heirloom pieces.

Those wooden ornaments have been entirely transformed! They started out (to my eye) very Holly Hobby from the 1970s, and now they look classically vintage. You also saved those nutcracker candlesticks! It's amazing what a different color scheme can do for things.

the montage of you painting the nutcrackers reminded me of the scene in Toy Story 2 where Woody is getting cleaned and repaired. so satisfying to watch! "You can't rush art!" i will never look at figurines in thrift stores the same again knowing this can be done to them. :D

At first I wasn't sure about the nutcrackers, but I have to admit, in the end they turned out amazing! I also love how you transformed simple wood ornaments into something unique. Very inspiring! Merry Christmas!

It makes sense to work on several projects at once since you need wait times for mod podge or paint to dry. These decorations are so quirky and wonderful ❤ On a side note, your lovely Vamp art in gold leaf frame watches over me in my art room while I vintage collage to my heart's content. 😊

You’re always so ambitious with your projects.. I love what you’ve done here. I recently I had a friend visit and we went to my local Goodwill, thinking about you and what a great Thrift Store shopper you are. We both found some old children’s books with great illustrations in them. The books all smelled musty but are in excellent condition so I probably won’t tear them apart as a decoupage project, sadly…. The musty smell should go away using baking soda sprinkled between the pages. Anyway my friend had a ball thrift store shopping as it became a highlight for the both of us. Keep doing what you’re doing,…. I always am inspired by you and your extremely good taste….

That was all amazing! The candlesticks look incredible. Your way of exploring how things look is inspiring. I would have painted them gold with a black moustache. Not what you were going for but that is all I could think for them. They were pretty horrid. Good reissue!

Oh, those toy soldier/nutcracker figures still freak me out! I was trying to figure out why, then I remembered how terrified I was of Burger King, like I had nightmares about the Burger King character they used in ads in the 80s, and those look way too much like him.
