All of the multi-faceted aspects of conflict in the Middle East strive from centuries of cultural disputes, territorial gains and loses, religious disposition, and, most importantly, Western intervention on a multi-national level that has disrupted established boundaries by local peoples in the region. It should come as no surprise that the response from the past hundreds of years has been constant bloodshed and warring with this culmination of factors. The complexities far exceed anything within the capabilities of myself, The Plastic Commander, are able to commit. In fact, there is a strong argument that the intervention of foreign military powers has proven completely ineffective and that now is the time for peace, reconciliation, acceptance, and self-reflection between all parties. Until this we can only assume that the nations within the realm of the world we refer to as the Middle East, between Africa, Europe, and China, will only continue to commit their resources to their ultimate, and mutually assured, destruction.
