Okay you got your thrift pal with you on this trip and she even coming out when she probably rather be home curled up on the sofa. I remember those shoes they were called jellys when I was a kid but they were so great. I have a couple of pairs that I bought before covid19 and my thought of them as poolside shoes but haven't worn them yet. Growing up (born early 60s and in the south) every lady of class had a candy dish in their sitting area that would contain mints or other wrap candy for guests and these containers were just exquisite.
