thrift stores are so expensive, that's the only time i go, unless its seniors day at goodwill, then i drag my mom out with me :) good thing is i'm looking for tiny stuff, so price isn't as bad :) i'm uploading another thrifting video on tuesday....live premiere at 6pm

I had sooo much fun watching you thrift. I felt as though I went thrifting with you. I saw a lot of things I want to buy for my Alice in Wonderland Steampunk cottage. (ja, ja) Some of the wooden jewelry boxes would be great to "steampunk" and the table top wood pieces. (Hey, you should "steampumk" something.) If I were making an altar room, that wooden piece you put back would make a great altar for your men to pray at. The black piece that you thought would make a great chandelier would be perfect as the table in front of the couch. I really enjoyed today's video.

We went to a larger town yesterday and I hit a Goodwill. I fount an insert divider for my cube shelves (organization is always an issue), a plant stand that will make a great table, and a cardboard jewelry box I’m making into a wardrobe for the dollhouse. It has a great magnetic clasp. I’ve already got a cardboard drawer set I found at Dollar Tree, so I’m going to do that fluted skewer stick treatment like you did in the bathroom and make them look like a set. They didn’t have a lot of stuff like this place, but I was happy to find some stuff. That little tray with the hook would have made a neat planter with a decorative lantern. I admire your reserve. I’m a bit of a hoarder when finding components for the dollhouse.

Im going to have to vote for the husband hands down he won this one. May I make a suggestion, the next challenge you at least have to finish yours in order to enter! Also for people such as my self who is not familiar with the Spanish language when you mention something can you tell us what it is, the category and what it's made of in the event we want to try to make it. Thanks for the info on thrifting for dollhouses for items you wouldn’t think would work. I can’t wait for the laundry room because I just brought that laundry set because of your comparison to Barbie. I can’t wait for the pink makeover because I’m doing an all pink Barbie dollhouse for my great granddaughter.

You're very welcome :) i'm uploading another thrift trip on tuesday, premiering live at 6pm if you're around, you can watch with me :) can't wait for the laundry room too, the bigger one definitely works better, makes me angry at mattel, either make the barbies smaller or the furniture bigger... i want to try to make them look similar in size... but first the office diorama.... this diorama series is almost done, and i also want to finish the pink pop diorama, maybe just a bathroom and no powder room, then i'm anxious to start a whole new series with new walls, windows etc. :) i don't think i'll ever run out of content, these are too fun to make :) i would love to share others work in my videos, if you're not posting anywhere :) and don't mind sharing.... :)

Definitely going to try snd catch you at 6pm…wait is that PST OR EST? I brought the washer and dryer and omg they are huge…did you say you’re going to try and make it look smaller? The height is good but the size for both is very bulky. I can’t wait for the pink pop diorama because I’m renovating a dollhouse for my great granddaughter with mostly pink Barbie furniture and pops of gold and white to be a Barbie style house.

I'm just outside Toronto EST :) really, it feels like its the perfect size for barbie, i have seen some huge washer and dryers :) i'm going to make the smaller one appear bigger, so i'm spray painting them both white. I would love to start sharing my subscribers dioramas and dollhouse makeovers at the end of my videos :)

Could the square wood piece at 1:20 be a match with metal piece at 6:29 to make the coffee table you spoke of? Could the pink mini vase at 3:18 work for 1:6 scale or too big? Could the metal basin at 3:28 work in a barbie wash room? Those 2 brown vases at 6:25 would be wonderful for a doll front doorway, or hallway. I greatly anticipate your videos. Love them!!

oh yes, you're right, both wood piece and meta piece would make an awesome coffee table... the pink vase was too big for barbie, maybe i should touch more of the items so you can see how big they are? it does look small in the video :) 3:28 oh i missed that, maybe it would have been great for the laundry room? yes, those would look great, i have to be more selective when i shop, i have so much already and i also like making things from scratch :) so happy people are enjoying these videos, i have another one on tuesday, premiering at 6pm if you're around to watch with me :) i want to keep improving them so any feedback will help :) thanks so much for watching and commenting :)
