No disrespect to Laporte but this win probably wouldnt have been possible without all those motorbikes . You could literally see the gap grow 3-4 seconds each time a motorbike was close in front of him !

What a season by Pedersen, when this was almost his most mediocre ride. Always in top 10 on all the big one-days, usually in top 5. Immense class all season!

Finally, there are sane people still! WVA's fans twist it like he gifted the victory to Laporte, but the truth is he wasn't strong enough to outsprint him! Arnaud De Lie was stronger than WVA and the belgians made mistake no supporting him over Wout.

I think Wout let his team mate win. He was gaining rapidly on Laporte and then in the last meters he suddenly gave up. I've watched this finish again and again, and it is just too weird.

Natuurlijk zeg. If WvA loses he always gives cadeautjes... Where does that stupid idea even originate from? 😅😂😅 In the worlds he whined about missing team radio and that he would have gone harder if he knew that MvdP crashed. This means: he didn't go 100%. As a pro you have to be aware that opponents can crash anytime. WvA clearly wasn't. So: without team radio WvA is nothing, tactically spoken.

Ludicrous. Jumbo Visma 1-2-3 yet again 🥱🥱🥱 Is it Gewiss-Ballan? You all know that Jumbo-Visma is in fact 'Team Rabobank', right? Look up such names as Thomas Dekker, Michael Rasmussen, Denis Menchov, Michael Boogerd, Joost Posthuma and Pieter Weening... It's getting just ridiculous. Again. SD Worx 1-2-3. From: The Netherlands. (Women) Jumbo-Visma(Rabobank) : 1-2-3. From: The Netherlands. (Men) But there is nothing to see here, right? And no questions being asked. By nobody in cycling media. Again: those results are ridiculous. Where is David Walsh when there's obviously lots of work for him to do?
