Miss Interpretation of 33 koti , here koti doesnt mean crores but it means supreme in Sanskrit. There are 33 supreme Gods in Hinduism not 33 crores: 12 Aditya (Anshuman, Aryaman, Indra, Twashta, Dhatu, Parjanya, Pusha, Bhag, Mitra, Varuna, Vivaswana, Vishnu), 8 Vasu (Aap, Dhruva, Soma, Dhar, Anil, Anal, Pratyusha, Prabhasa) and 11 Rudras (Shambhu, Pinaki, Girish, Sthanu, Bharga, Bhava, Sadashiva, Shiva, Hara, Sharva, Kapali). In addition to these 31 gods, Indra and Prajapati are two prominent gods. THESE Misinterpretations are formerly made by the Brits as they took the meaning of koti as crores. At least as an Indian , we should be well researched first, then ask layman questions.

Good content but there's a problem. I sat through the whole video and I quite agree with the idea of serving God as the ultimate purpose. But this is where you confuse me. You presented an intellectual idea of God and, at the same time, TOTALLY discarded the idea of organized religion. I think there is a gap in this argument. Religion sustains the 'idea of God' in us. The rituals and practices that come in the package of religion are what put the idea of 'serving' into action. Corruption in religion is a whole different topic, but the only way to put our faith in action is to practice BLINDLY. Not to mention the risks that come with it. God is a placebo, and it wouldn't work without real blind surrender. Religion is the age-old tool designed to make this surrender easy.

exactly bhai, incorporating such faith in the idea of God and serving him as the ultimate is particularly tough for a person who leans more on the atheistic side, but that's my question, religion is the age old tool designed for reducing the difficulty in devoting your work to god with complete faith, but is there no better way to do it, a tool without the risks that religion comes with?

@@harshit73 I don't know, brother. But I think there is no way to make a complete surrender without the risk of being misguided. It might either lead to some sort of enlightenment or total disaster. I think we have to let go of a lot of objective thinking to adopt blind faith. Our idea of morality and righteousness narrows down.

I think one would have to have a really big disaster in one's life where either they lost everything or came really close to it, for them to say fuck it, my life's a total disaster anyway, so might as well have blind faith and act accordingly. And Prakhar bhai I am not saying this is what happened (just thinking out loud), but it's possible that might have been the case with Prakhar bhai last year when the Indian youtube community went ham at him, which is what allowed him to have more faith in God (again, not suggesting that this happened, just thinking out loud)

Krishna focuses on "Darshan" and not "belief". He is more interested in you seeing him then believing in him. That's why there are 17 chapters on techniques to see him.
