@@danielZ90X greatsword/dagger is better for 1v1 and is the traditional assassin melee build. bow/dagger is like a long range sniper that can secure kills and go in melee occasionally if ur into that

I wouldnt come to TL With expectations that you wil have fun smallscale content, there will be some but it will be severely limited it is primarily a Guild game
they added a new event that's a 3 way fight between matchmaked teams. thats ur best bet at small scale. otherwise if you play early in the day or later at night, its almost always small scale pvp i dont swap to bow auto cuz i want the dagger mastery passives

Which button do you use to jump since you have space for the guard? I assume you use scroll wheel, right? But then I ask how do you zoom in or out during fights?

This game actually looks fun... it's P2W yes, but not horrible and achievable free to play with enough dedication. I wish people would just think for themselves before getting on a hype/hate train. I tried open beta first time for this game 3 days ago, I am lvl 50 and it's a good game. Is it the best game ever? No, but it has potential. So long as they don't add more P2W layers I am happy. BTW love your Bow/Dagger vid.
Nice video! How do you target enemies? I don't see any tab targetting? EDIT: I mean, sometimes I do see the red outline on enemies (manual targetting), other times I just see a crosshair. Is the crosshair based on automatic settings? (the game picks the enemy for you). What kind of targetting options do you use? There are so many of them.
@@GensUnaSumus09 I play on action mode so if I click while my crosshair is over someone, then I target them. at the same time, I can also press tab which doesn't rely on my crosshwir and targets enemies based on an order of priority in my settings. I'm pretty sure my priority is just players attacking me and then all flagged players

Dominated obt and transferred to 3 different servers looking for competition and found none. so yeah we are currently the best guild on NA East. This game is unfortunately too niche and too knowledge-heavy of a game for a community to play at launch for the first time and compete against vets like us. I hope we have competition but all people do is dodge us now. 90% of the top 100 in every ranking is us on every server we transfer to :/ was getting pretty boring
i dont think it matters what u have as ur 1 or 2 but the weapon u have equipped in ur hand gives u the mastery bonus. i keep dagger in my hand for the movement speed and dmg passives
All I see in the PvP videos are dagger/dagger builds. Is it meta or we should give a chance to staff or great sword etc. I didn't play the game yet btw.
dagger is a common dps weapon due to it's utility and mobility. its probably the most popular weapon but definitely not the strongest. staf, sns, wand, etc are all still very strong in their respective builds. the strongest and most common dagger builds are bow/dagger, staff/dagger, greatsword/dagger
Why are they taking so much more damage and you take so little in the middle of multiple enemies? Is that because of gear difference? Trying to understand the game.
@@Herravanrikki better +stealth management. they can't target me when I'm stealth. and it is a very gear based game but most people had similar gear since it was a 5 day beta
nice vid dude. Been following up since old NW days, also a NW veteran here (bored after 6k hours) who is lf a new game. I also have multiple 1vx clips from NW and I truly enjoyed non tab targetting. That said, and knowing a lot will change in the game, but as of current state, from 1 to 10, how does (a) 1v1/2/3s, (b) larger scale (Say 10x10 to 20x20) and (c) bigger scale (say 30+) pvp feel? Is there a room for melee dps or is basically position/skill coordination/aoe or st burst? I wanna get a feeling on how organized pvp looks, finding out some info to decide to invest or not in this game. thanks in advance.
u might see a double reply to this since i think yt bugged out. this game has almost the opposite balance of new world to be completely honest. tanks are very strong and top tier at 1v1. melee dps like greatsword/dagger completely dominate ranged builds. greatsword/dagger struggles in large scale a bit but its king of small scale and medium scale pvp

tab target usually refers to having to press "tab" to target people but also refers to games that simply auto-aim all your abilities for you vs a target. Action combat makes you manually aim all your shots and skills. an example of tab target is WoW/FFXIV while good example of action combat are New World and BDO
I use action mode and I still have to tab between targets , if multiple on screen and I have one selected and need to switch to another one , hovering my cursor over and pressing skill won't switch targets it will still hit the original target , do I have something wrong in my settings ?
@@Arteemis you barely have enough time in the day to do everything such as pvp events, instanced dungeons, open world dungeons, and lifeskills, etc. its more of a sandbox now than a timegate
The best archer in the new world is now the best archer on the Throne and Liberty. Do you use Melle evasion and Ranger evasion so that enemies miss you? or part of the damage is avoided. Thx for the vídeo
evasion gives a chance for enemies to completely miss you, assuming you have more evasion than they have hit. the dagger dodge gives a ton of range/magic evasion
@@xXSuReaLXx I've always liked bow/dagger in videogames tbh. I think crossbow/dagger is more my playstyle tho and I'll probably try it out if I ever get archboss weapons

depends on prices at launch. a few hundred if you wanna trait your gear before everyone else and be the absolute best. otherwise u dont really need to be spend any money to be competitive if you're active in the game
one thing for sure is that the devs actually care about the game and release such fast updates that improve it. I think it's an okay game right now but by the time it comes NA, I think it'll be a very good game. I'm on the copium, until ashes atleast lol
@@NeSbeatsoriginal strafing, shadowstrike, decisive striking first. for passives, assassin's step first for pve and then shadow walker. rest of the order doesn't matter much
lol All this will change on release. The balancing is horrible in Korea right now. 1-2 shots until t2 gear where evasion is king. Small scale pvp is barrier hop'in, heads up, dots still persist outside barrier, so keep that in mind ;). Large scale is a numbers battle. Even 1 person makes a difference due to cc chaining. If you want any hope of winning. Get like 10 auto bombers with max hit/crit/heavy attack xbow and destroy large groups. Otherwise play for the pve. Because it's actually worth playing.
@@asurakey yeah I was excited for the combat update but I'm not surprised this happened. Korean mmos always have the worst balancing in pvp. ashes of creation alpha coming out a month after release anyway

the only resemblance of skill is the dodges and typical stealth/cooldown management. otherwise its your typical gear dependent + rng combat korean pvp. but to be fair, skill matters alot more now compared to when i first played months ago on KR
yeah at rank 1 u get a skill that changes the day to night which actives open pvp in dungeons. at bosses u can wipe people and get the boss loot for you and ur guild. for winning castle siege, u get tax money
Better gear wins in a tab target game with auto basic attack and even the macro users for x12 buttons. Play melee if you want to enjoy the game. Bow is good for small size pvp :D
i like it. the devs regularly update the game but it still needs some fundamental improvements. it'll be my main mmo until ashes of creation comes out but I'll probably still play this on the side if it's alive
I played this game for a very long time I thought the combat system would be great, but I was disappointed or you have a very outdated combat system for 2024 such as target or you have a mixed target I thought they would make a combat system like in Tera Online or at least like in Black Desert Because these are the best combat systems tylko w Black Desert nie ma co robić bo robi z jedno i to samo I thought it would be some Game that would replace my online tere, but it's a shame the only thing that has a nice cool atmosphere and this drop is so unmotivating to play The game doesn't reward you well for what you do this game promised to be fun, attacks wasted potential by this combat system and because of this weak drop that does not reward what you do I hope they will change it for the better in the future
Bro I respect the pvp gameplay, but talking about kills inn beta isnt worth it, I played casually as someone who played since launch in KR and easily farmed +100 kills in one pvp instance due to casual and new players not knowing even how to defend themselves, so the kills in beta aren't something to be really proud of tbh
@@ItsmeMack you don't get any points for killing low levels tho. no casual is level 50 on day 2/3. I'd argue it's probably the only time kills matter tbh lol

sowas von nichtssagend. jeder szene ein kill und dann weggeblendet, vermutlich weil du dann selbst stirbst. was sollen deine ganzen videos zeigen, das man mit initiative einen kill schaffen kann auch wenn man dann stirbt? das kann quasi jede waffenkombo.
it's a highlight 1vX video. i show a 1vX clip where i kill multiple people and then show the next clip. that makes it entertaining. thats why my channel has 70k subs with 600 videos and you have 1k subs with 600 videos

What kind of statement is that? you show pvp videos and always just show how you kill an opponent who is usually down and then quickly cut the scene. That has nothing to do with entertainment but rather disguises the fact that you'll get pissed off afterwards. you're just trying to portray your skill as better than it is and it wouldn't matter if you had 1000000000 subs.

I'm level 50 with fully traited green gear (didn't bother with blues because no point) and some of the people he's fighting in these clips kill me in 2 seconds. no way he is fighting noobs
