I think impatience for younger people comes naturally because time is perceived so differently. When you don't have a lot of years under your belt, the idea of waiting 6 months for something seems like an eternity. That's half a year of school after all. So I can sympathize with that and even accept for younger people the price might be worth it to fulfill their want quicker. Live it up when you're young, because getting older sucks.
I agree with your assessment of prices for collectors, but if you are a competitive player, you can't wait for prices to settle to be competitive in tournaments.
I actually do like your opening of packs AND listening to your topic about magic related stuff... It is interesting and helps me keep up to date a bit more
Outlaws Merriment is an amazing card. I run a R/W/B deck that uses Mirrormade, Conclaves Tribunal, Quadruplicant w/ Dungeon Geists and Fires of Invention. There's a lot going on with that card tbh,imo.
The foils rares in eldraine are so random. I had a box with 5 foil rares, followed by a box with only 2, then another box with 4, and then one with only 1.
My Japanese Box had pretty great pulls. Two foil Rares, one of which was alternate frame Murderous Rider, 5 mythics one of which was the great henge and another was boarderless Royal Scions.
Yes, I opened 4 sealed box's and many loose packs from my LGS. The loose Japanese packs and ONE box was considerably better. It's like they pulled the spice like alternate/fairytale and the PW mythics from the US box's. Just saw way more variety and quantity in general as far as the desirable"special" cards in the pull tab packs and far more bulk in the US ones. Sorting really looks like it was different between the two
Hey Rudy, can you do a comparison of eldraine fat packs and booster boxes......? Seems like the sealing quality/glue on pack/ card surface/ and the overall pulls.... am i crazy but the fat packs are really different
What is this? What kind of special edition limited collectors edition is this luxury cardboard? For some reason my wallet doesn't feel so drained, so I'm suspicious.
So... how do you feel about them using your likeness on a Magic card? Clearly they didn't ask you first. So do you feel honored? Do you feel slighted? Can you ask them to send you or at least sell you the original artwork for that as a "thanks"?

Rudy you have to work on your Box ratings ! When you rated the second box a “4” it was a 1 or maaaybe a 2! No fabled passage, no once upon a time. Just crappy crap crap ! The royal s. made it a 4 out of 10... teeeeerrible these two boxes :D
