In a bold initiative to preserve the pristine beauty of Bali’s environment, particularly in the vibrant Canggu area, Rip Curl has collaborating with 4Ocean to tackle plastic pollution creatively. The collaboration aims not only to clean up the beach, but also to recycle plastic waste into stunning works of art.
During the unveiling of Rip Curl’s latest outlet in Canggu on Friday, July 5, 2024, Harrison Mann, Product Marketing Manager at Rip Curl, highlighted their commitment alongside with Geby Amanda Putri, Head of Communications. The event showcased a painting crafted from recycled plastic waste, collected over one month with an impressive total weight of 640 kilograms.
“This artwork took 12 days to made and vividly depict the splendor of Canggu beach while embodying Rip Curl’s dedication to environmental conservation, particularly of our oceans,” remarked Harrison Mann.
