Most dangerous people are only dangerous in certain circumstances that suit them. What is more dangerous is someone not fit for the power they have. For example: a bad driver at the wheel of a powerful car or bus (big vehicle) is an extremely dangerous person. An angry cyclist that goes to the gym... not so much.

Growing up in a physically abusive home, I was terrified of inflicting physical harm on others. It made me a target growing up as predators would key in on it. After enlisting in the military at 17 and finding waaay to many predators in that environment, I had to fight back or live in constant hazing. I chose to fight when attacked and learned I was quite capable. It changed my life in key ways. I did not become a predator...but I learned to not suffer fools who disrespected me. Becoming capable of violence changed my life for the better.

@@tyronewallaceii8335 it was not the journalist. It was the man. he meant that he who does NOT practice is prone to the reactions of his basic instincts of fear, violence, agression. Don't get me wrong: I am not saying that martial arts practice will alter our basic instincts (this is at DNA level, thanks God we can't change that). But with practice we can alter the response to those stressful situations. One can see it in the eyes of your opponents: The moment they realise that you have the strength to crush them, yet you show them mercy and respect instead. @woulfhound
@woulfhound 3 года назад
The only problem with this is that many will not see your strength, even if they look into your eyes. The strong prefer to prey upon the weak because otherwise they would no longer be strong if they were evenly matched. Don't bother trying to show off your strength. Bullies do that all the time, and they will still think they're stronger than you and your enemies will learn to counter your strength. Keep your strength a secret.
@martinharris5017
@martinharris5017 3 года назад
@@woulfhound As I said, you don't show off your strength or use it as bullying: There's always someone stronger than you waiting in line! To repeat what I stated: One demonstrates strength through showing mercy and respect, and that's even if an opponent does not reciprocate likewise. They will soon trip themselves up. Be aware that we aren't talking physical strength here: This isn't about physical combat. We are discussing psychological fortitude and the ability to defeat an opponent in argument. I have no issues arguing or debating with individuals of higher IQ than myself, nor with those who have formal credentials to back up their knowledge. One gains strength through such engagements, and especially acknowledging when you're wrong about something: A moments of lost pride is a small price for the knowledge and respect gained. Strength doesn't always mean crushing an opponent. Admitting fault is a strength that will gain respect from an opponent. Or throw them off guard perhaps.

I unfortunately was a victim of child abuse. I luckily made it out eventually and it thought me how to be exactly like this. When I was young and weak I was prey, as I came into manhood I trained, I exercised, I went on to learn many different martial arts and as the years progressed I never lost sight of the future nor forgot the past. I've become a man that will never harm or abuse another living being, but will defend everything I love with a ferocious strength not often seen. A few years ago my wife finally witnessed this for the first time over a misunderstanding with my 10 year old son and another child's father. The man was yelling at my son who had nothing to do with the incident that happened and when my son told him to leave him alone the man made an aggressive move towards him. I was on him with the speed and power of a locomotive, threw him across the park. He decided to try to attack me so I pummeled him only into unconsciousness and nothing more. My wife told me after that day how she sees me so differently now, not in a bad way. I was always the most gentle and joyful person she's ever known, never aggressive, because I rarely have to be. She says she feels so much safer now whenever I'm with her and our children because she knows I am a peaceful man with a monster inside me. Sorry for such a long post

A retired Vietnam vet i knew very well shouted "Junior!" One day with that drill instructor voice and of course I jumped thinking he was mad, but when I looked at him he asked "Why do you walk like that?" I asked what he meant and he put his hands on my shoulders and pushed slightly making my posture straighten then he looked at me and said " Carry yourself with a little pride". That was the extent of the encounter and he went about his shopping. I didn't think much about it at the time but I thought why not actively give it a shot. He died two or so years after that, then the weight of what he said hit me when his wife came into my work place to speak to a co worker of mine about the vets DD214 and some other paperwork that was heavily redacted with black splotches. This co worker also served during Vietnam as some kind of big time clerk for a marine corps base and told her that her husband was the real life Rambo. Now I think about the unassuming man with a smile, a man who saw the unimaginable cruelty of War in a way that not even many infantry see it, a man who was a hero to us and a demon to his opponents, taking that moment to tell a 20 something stock boy to literally straighten up and feel better about himself and it hits so much harder now.

When your done you feel something different this time. It's like the emotion gone and all you have is this power to do what you want to do. To say what you want to say. Where as before, there was this fear, this confusion. But once your actually done. There is no fear, no confusion and there's this power you feel. You feel like a giant to take on what ever is needed to be done!!!

I've listened to this 100X if I've listened to it once... Love JP 💯 I do not like the monster within but when He's needed... He's ready... The world will most certainly, at some point, push you to see if that monster really exists... Be a kind soul... Until it's time to not be kind... Then do what needs to be done... Just don't lose your kindness and mercy in the process... Dangerous 💯

Glad this video popped up in my suggested videos, I sometimes struggle with my dark side, I am exactly what this video talks about, I am capable and have darker thoughts at times, but do not and will not act on them in a deadly manner and for no reason, only in a self defense manner. It has gotten me through many issues throughout my life, but I always struggled with it because I felt like I had something bad in me that I perhaps needed to get rid of. Looking deeper at myself it’s only ever directed towards those who do bad or try to harm me or others. This monster always comes out when I see injustice or someone tries to bully me. I must admit I always kinda liked the monster inside because he’s not a bad guy, but he is vicious towards those who are doing wrong. I am a kind hearted person and I think that gives some people the idea that I’m a pushover, until they realize that I’m not.

Lack of gratitude & lack of wisdom based on Resentment is very dangerous = what I needed to hear today. I’ve been resentful towards my husband ever since my Mom passed away almost 4 years ago. Trying to work thru all the memories and grieving while feeling not myself. Getting closer now to accepting My imperfections….losing a parent is most difficult time of life!!!

It's like the RU-vid algorythem knows exactly what my life has been these last 2 years. From being sheltered in luxury all my life, to having to walk through a dark path of betrayal, starvation, cruelty, and degradation. Conquering one mad tyrant after the next. Once my mom's will is sorted out, which is soon, there's one final boss to defeat, so I can take back the company that's rightfully mine. I feel a lot like Simba at this point

One thing that's always bothered me if how quick people are to judge and point out the evil in others, when they don't even see the evil in themselves. We all have dark thoughts, some people just act on them more than others. So instead of pretending like you're a saint who can do no wrong, you have to acknowledge the evil within you so you can control it and bring it out when you need it 😈

yessss i can tell a story i used to be this nice guy and because of my emapthy i was able to understand people even those who were being abusive with me. but one day when i decided to stand up for myself, and show some teeth, those people were surprised and traumatized at same time, i didn't even attack them or anything but i stood up for myself and now they can't even look me in the eye anymore, in a way i respect and love myself more because i stood up for myself. There is no reason to tolerate bullshits from anyone, no matter how not personal it is, you only have one life and no one is worth ruining it. People must know that you have teeth too to respect you. Thats how nature is, its not only peace and unicorns, its wild and furious, you have to embrace that part of yourself too, this does not mean to go on like a jerk and abusing people but when the animals attack you , you don't go like oh i understand you attack me and shit, but you show your teeth too. Its how you survive in the world. otherwise you gonna be eaten

We are our own best predator, many fall victim to our own idea that we are limited. What if I were to tell you right now, you are what you decide. From day to day we make decisions that define what we are. These decisions will allow us to spring to the heavens or grow stagnant. Always treat your current high platform as a foundation. Always planning, always looking forward and upward. Many of us fall victim to our own nature of which grows comfortable with the now when we perhaps should look further to the future.
