It was never insane to complete TTFAF, I mean I could get through it after about a month of practice, and I never even thought of tapping with two hands. Just one hand strummed through it like a boss, 78% was my best score on expert. Saved every SP for the solos obviously so I wouldnt fail. It was insane to FC this, tho.
Wow! Congrats, I'm they guy who tracked this song and I just wanted to say this is rad man!!! I'm so happy to see people still enjoying all of our work! Yall are seriously still the best fans in the world.
Later that day, he walked into the bathroom, looked in the mirror and didn't recognize himself, for 10 years had gone by. He was now a 12 year old boy in a 22 year old's body.
It’s been 5 years now, I’ve never showed a video to more people because of how god damn crazy this is. Imagine memorizing a 7 minutes song and remembering where each strum bar is. Wild
When I first played Guitar Hero back in 2008 and saw the expert chart for TTFAF, I thought "Damn. The crazy thing is, I'm sure someone has FC'd this blindfolded." Turns out I was only about 10 years early. Amazing accomplishment, bro!
I wish I could show this to my 8 year old self. I remember being so proud the handful of times I even completed the song, using star power to hold on for dear life.
Swedguy220 it really doesnt make a difference to an experienced GH player if the buttons are colored on the guitar or not, the colours and the places are in muscle memory so when you play, you dont even (as you can see) have to look at what button you are pressing because it comes from so deep within your brains.
"I'm awesome at guitar hero. I can beat TTFATF on expert!" "I can literally beat that song blindfolded." Seriously though, that's almost 4k notes to remember. That's inhuman.
You'd be surprised how effective the brain is with remembering muscle memory, and having the notes ingrained in your head also helps associate the two. I work in a grocery store, I know all the produce/pastry codes solely by muscle memory. If a coworker asks me for a code, I have to use muscle memory to get it. Same thing applies with him and TTFATF. Still really impressive though. This is a lot harder than remembering codes lol I'm just saying those are similar situations.
This is probably the coolest thing i've seen for years on youtube ever. Impressive effort. The song is ranked as the most difficult song on guitar hero, and you nailed it. Even blind folded. 👏👌👍
Honestly I find it amazing how even after all these years of this notorious chart being released, people are still finding ways to get insane runs in unique ways, and I think this is definitely at the peak of them all. Congratulations, you just blew my fucking mind.
what an amazing achievement, i remember in 2007 when everyone thought passing this song to get the achievement was the most challenging thing ever, what a day!
You're a fucking legend, my dude! The blooper reel makes this all the better lol And thank you so much for the kind words when Jason played my remix! You're more than welcome to take a whack at that blindfolded too ;P
Thats insane, i remember searching this when i was like 10 and i watched guitarherophenoms fc of it, and now finnally what i thought was impossible is possible, congrats and much love
This is ridiculous. Good job you put huge links on your channels on this, cause this is definitely gonna get stolen and/or posted everywhere, lmao. You're without a doubt one of the best people to ever play GH.
I couldn't even do the tutorial when I got GH when it came out when I was like 6 but this guy went through the most hardest song on the game blindfolded. I'm done
Glad to see this racking up the views. Honestly crazy, but there's one thing I have to ask. Why in the previous video of this did you have the giant gems and super slow track speed, but not here? Wasn't that to "prove" there was no cheating? Not that it needs verification from any informed member of the community, but it did seem smart just in case.
that was the reason I did that yes, but it didn't actually work cause there was still people saying it was fake. so there's gonna be people who say my blindfolded videos are fake no matter what I do, so I'd rather focus my priorities on making these videos more entertaining to watch rather than prove myself to people who won't believe me regardless
