Started even before that! There's an interview somewhere with Zeddyzi and ToonBoom I think. They mentioned that the 3 characters started as "Neopet-like" animal things when zeddyzi was a kid, but they changed to humans when zeddyzi grew out of the neopet phase. It's a pretty interesting interview!

@@Kou_Nozomaki thank you. That is a kind offer, and if I was anywhere close to ready to start animating, I would accept. I’ve had the idea for this story for about a year now, but I’ve never really expanded on it. I only started seriously working on it in late March. I want to at least finish the story (maybe the storyboard too) before enlisting any help. And while I’m writing the outline, I’ll also be working on my artistic skills, concept arts, and character designs. Not to mention the extra research I have to do on history and mythology to get the appropriate material for a consistent background. All in all, I expect 2-3 years till I can start animating with intent to finish. Genuinely, thanks for the offer though. 😁

@@lightningbolt9155yea ur partially correct, the oc’s go way back to 2010 but originally the oc’s made it to a webtoon comic. The actual animated show was planned a year ago or so.

Vivziepop and Glitch both likely had a really big hand in inspiring so many people. I remember a segment of the GLITCHX livestream where they gave Ramshackle a shoutout. GLITCHX is what originally inspired me to start working on my own animated series too. I’m far from done, but things are progressing.
