Love the look! My favs are Gisele,Miranda and Candice. A shame that they cancelled the show I loved the 2000’s vs angels era so much. Hopefully they can start getting back on track with the shows this year.
It was high time to cancel the show, the marketing was great but not sustainable and not to mention hugely problematic, I loved the show the first time I saw it but as you see it carefully it desensitize oneself

Probably dating myself a little but a few friends and I went to LA to see Memoirs of a Geisha and after we were seated we kept getting whiffs of something that smelled so good. And we started talking about it and how nice it smelled and what it might be. One of the most beautiful women I've ever seen in real life was seated in front of us and she heard us when she had come back from getting snacks and it was like something out of a commercial she just looked at us smiling and said "It's Love Spell, Victoria's Secret". I still keep a bottle that I use like air freshener around the house. That is my only Victoria's Secret memory, probably not exactly what you meant lol.
Adriana Lima is still one of my favorite - she’s absolutely kickass and I love that the super-feminine Angel I grew up fawning over decided that kickboxing was an ideal workout for her. Gives me inspiration to do the same. 😁

The first time I watched the vs fashion show was in 2012… I was in love… despite the controversy the show had a great line up and the segment on Candice Swanepoel was everything ✨… 8 year old me was in love. In fact my fascination with fashion started because of VS.

Yes I loved the VS fashion shows growing up! Miranda Kerr and Rosie HW were my favorites, but Miranda will always hold a special place in my heart. I do vaguely remember the search for the next pussy cat doll! I agree that there were more toxic shows on than the VS fashion show. I thought of it as art and just a fashion show. I didn't look at the Angels and hate my body or anything like that. Loved this throwback tutorial!!

I was born in 2004 so I didn't really even become aware of the model side of VS until like 2019 but I remember my mom used to have lip glosses from them probably around 2008 or 2009 that my sisters and I loved because they were lemonade and strawberry flavored and so we would always steal her lipglosses lol
This is a "new classic" look IMO. The feminine 50s is iconic, and now this look from early 2000s. Both are beautiful, very distinct and look good on a collective of women. ❤️
My favourite were Candice and Alessandra. I loved one one of their wintry collections when Ellie Goulding performed Love me like you do. It was so beautiful. I also remember seeing a VS swim shot in Costa Rica and I was immediately obsessed with the gorgeous beaches.

It was everything. I remember wanting to have those voluminous waves and bronzed skin so bad. I think I still kinda do at the back of my mind because I still love big hair like that and glossy skin. I remember I ordered the catalog as a teenager to where I live in Europe lol. I don't think I ever placed an actual order though. I visited the States in 2005 and went to shop at Victoria's Secret and bought some lip glosses and other makeup items. I was like 15 and it was one of the highlights of my trip. I'm 31 now and I still have the Victoria's Secret pink shopping bags from that era with the pink gift wrap paper! They are just too precious to throw away for some reason.

Love how glowy this makeup looks, it's glamorous but the colours are still soft and sweet, very 2000s! I felt your pain with the velcro rollers, I have super long hair too and once it got all caught up in the rollers. Truth be told I'm not talented in hair styling but it still surprised me how something so simple turned into a huge *painful* tangled mess so fast xD

I didn't discover VS until the early 2010s so that's my fav era (2011-2015 were the best shows imo), but I LOVE how soft and sun-kissed they looked in the 00s. My favourite Angel is Candice Swanepoel ♡ (Also, I loved Girlicious! I'll never get over Carrie being eliminated over Natalie right after performing her ass off because Carrie was "good enough to go solo" and Natalie "needed a group to back her up"...)
