I used to love these boxes. One time in the first variation you opened I got a really weird hit. It was a Vick Ballard prizm auto/499 and then later in the stack of cards there was another Vick balllard prizm auto /499. They were in order as well, I think it was 349 and 350. It was weird that they gave me 2 hits of the same guy in numerical order

So crazy to think that 5 years ago you could walk into a Target, Walgreen's or Rite Aid and find tons of these "mystery" boxes hanging on pegs in the store. Nobody was going crazy for them and there was always plenty of stock on the shelves. It was cool to pick one up every once and a while and take a walk down memory lane with all the older 80's and 90's junk wax. Seeing the Metal Universe card makes me curious if they happened to pack out some PMG's in the mystery boxes?

Hey Sam 👋 I like the boxes .knowing that I collected most sports. When you have players that follow you. Billy Ripken followed me everywhere. Even in this product football. The baseball player was in my football Fairfield !😳

I opened quite a few of the one on the left, and they were actually pretty decent value since they were only $5. I remember getting one box with a Kwon Alexander rookie Prizm auto /99 and a 2008 Score hobby pack where I pulled a James Hardy on card auto. Definitely fun when you get a box like that!

The walgreens 'prime boxes' were the absolute best and I miss them. $8.99 for 2 panini retail packs and a hobby pack. Some of my coolest autos I pulled from those

When I watch these, it's like an added reminder of why I don't get tempted when I see these in stores. A stack of commons & a pack of Sage isn't even worth spending $5 on. Three of those are $15, and Sage blasters with three autos still sometimes go as low as $20.

Those Walgreens repacks are normally trash but those were solid. I'm a Bama fan but that Kearse relic card is pretty cool.

A couple years ago, I bought two of the baseball ones of these and both had hits. One was a bowman something with 2 autos and the other was a team usa auto. Not big name guys but still cool to pull

These boxes were so fun when I was young. I used to get hyped when I pulled a hall of fame caliber player (even if it was a base), and even got a decent amount of autos and patches. From what i've seen the Covid boom ruined them. Now it's impossible to get anything decent, its littered with SAGE
