Only three pounds!?! That’s amazing! I just found your videos ! I love the split screen. I love your clear informative style and how focused you are! I did have to laugh at how you said holding your breath is completely unnecessary... because I do it because I’m terrified I’m gonna mess it up😂 I realize it’s not necessary but.... it’s hard to be relaxed about it , maybe after more practice? Thank you for making it look so easy and for sharing your talents with us! Your are an outstanding teacher and you make beautiful pieces! We look forward to more videos from you.

I am really enjoying this elegent technique, I practiced this form today with one kg followed by the teardrop bottle, used the thumbnail trick as well as the the recentering in the bottle kneck. Thanks Teacher I feel refreshed and inspired.❤

Hello from Japan. Thank you for sharing your skills with us. However, I wonder why you cone up more than once, especially if the clay has been wedged properly beforehand (and the granules are thus aligned). Thank you!

The potter Guy Wolff describes it as a bit like stretching before a workout. Coning puts the clay in motion. One last form of wedging before you start. The amount of times you do it is entirely up to individual preference based on the way your clay feels when centering.

Please tell us how much clay you're using. Would that be about two pounds?

Hi Ki Cho, I find amazing what you can do on the wheel. Would you be willing to do a FaceTime/Skype video call with me while I pull a cylinder so that you can give me personalised advice. Of course I expect to pay for it :) I am in the Netherlands (for the time zone). Thank you very much in advance and looking forward to hearing back from you!!!! Cheers, María

I was so confused when he spoke. I legitimately thought this was a woman from the thumbnail... Freaked me WAY out.
