Throwing our son's FIRST birthday party 

Oh my gosh, that is so true! We lost my Dad when I was only 2 1/2 weeks old and my sister was 2 years old. I have always wished I could hear what his voice sounded like. What a beautiful gift for cute little Griffin ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Me too!! My great grandma died when I was one, so I will never truly remember her, but I do have a picture of her and I on the top of my bookshelf and I always have the stories my dad tells around the dinner table! I would love to be able to see her and hear her voice now that I'm older. She seemed like such an awesome person!!!

Yes my great grandma died early this year and me and her were very close and she’d lived with us since 2020 and every photo video and this one voicemail and every story she ever told me I cherish very much

It’s not that dramatic a lot of family channels do show the kids faces they aren’t gonna look the same when they’re older anyway

@@ladyatilano40 they were showing his birthday party and celebrating their child. I don’t need to see his face and know every detail of his life. Their channel is called Matt and Abby. People watch for them and yes I applaud them for giving their child some privacy. More should be doing the same.

You do realize in reality anyone can take a pic of the child while they’re out in public and it’s on the internet forever pixelated on RU-vid has no relevance whatsoever in real life

While it is possible for some people to take a photo your children and put it on the internet, its far less likely, purely based on how few people would live in their locality compared to the amount of people on the internet. Not to mention, that the parents would be close by and monitoring the situation. If someone seemed unsavoury, you’d assume the parents would remove the children. In real life most people abide by social norms more readily. There is a reason most celebs chose to have their childrens faces blurred in paparazi pics, despite the fact a member of the public could take a picture. It is effective at reducing the risks, despite it not being impossible to take photos on public property.

In the Netherlands every family member gets congratulated for their family member's birthday. I really dislike it lol

I understand that you shouldn’t exploit your children and clearly you can tell that Matt and Abbey wouldn’t do that, but it would’ve been nice to see his adorable happy face on this birthday video. Just my opinion….not trying to offend, annoy or disrespect anyone. Happy Birthday Griffin!

How is his face any different than his body? I really think Matt and Abby are entertaining but I got hooked on their videos when they were pregnant the first time. They were so open and genuine. I know they work hard at this job but now that they aren’t showing their cute baby, I’ve lost interest. I wish there was a video explaining why they don’t show him any more. I mean they can edit out anything that might embarrass him down the road right? It feels like they are trying to have their cake and eat it too, pun intended.
