Yeah this is funny cuz it's true. The other videos I've come across are some kid who's like "yeah so u just do it like this (while whipping and flipping all over)". In other words the teaching leaves something to be desired... I found this video HERE to be engaging and informative. It only got too fast for me to follow in a couple parts on the first watch. Will have to save for later viewing after some practice.
Brilliant video and very informative. I was wondering if the width of the spindle was important for wrapping the string around. The diabolo that I have has just enough room for the string as a curve and when I wrap it around, it just bunches up and spins on itself. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Trevor Smith try replacing the string. Old strings dont work well. I might try and make a new video this week specially for the elevator. Please check back at the end of the week. Cja

this video is actually quite old - back then I only had a fixed diabolo. You can buy the triple bearing from my shop (www.TheJuggler.co) but I am not sure of the shipping cost.. They are very expensive currently because no planes are flying.
ami 97 try to unravel the string, it could be a bit twisted, i.e. let the stick hang down, hold the other stick and let the strig unravel like this. Or, if this doesnt help, try a new string as the other might be to old. Have fun! And happy jugglng
Hello. In the video, you said to get the diabolo spinning you just move the right stick up and down and keep the left one still, but i see other videos of people moving both, and later on in the video, it looks like you also move both. What am i supposed to do?
