Thrown Out Of School | The Munsters 

Now I’m young, I’m just a teenager, but I remember when I was younger and my grandfather showed me the munsters and I thought it was great! I stayed up late watching it and I thought every second of it was hilarious! I just thought about it earlier today and I’m 100% binging this RU-vid channel. I miss my grandfather a lot and this brings back really great memories, thank you!!!!

They couldn't have picked a better cast. All were perfect and it was done so smoothly. Plus you saw the show not commercials.

Being a child of the 70s,this show makes me feel 5 years old again.

When you've not watched The Munsters since the late 80s/early 90s, you get blown away with memories of how good they all were in this. Herman and Grandpa especially.

Herman Munster is generally one of a kind Frankenstein tall man rest in peace Fred Gwynne Al Lewis and Yvonne.

Grandpa: I only flew in to get out of the Rain. Herman: FOR TWO WEEKS?

My dad loved the Munsters, especially Herman Munster. When I was in college, i would always try and be back in my dorm room to watch reruns at 3pm. If you were outside around that time, you could hear other people's tvs on the same channels, so many students trying to get their "Munsters" fix for the day. That was back in the early 80s before the internet and cellphones. 😊

The reason the Munsters was a much better show than the Addams family is they dealt with every day things. They just looked VERY weird. Ha. The Munsters behaved like a regular family: Herman worked a job, Eddie and Marilyn went to school, Lily was a homemaker and Grandpa was part of the extended family.

Herman: We haven't had anyone kicked out of school since Grandpa got kicked out of Vasser for hanging in the rafters. Grandpa: I was only trying to get out of the rain. Herman: For 2 weeks?!

I LOVED THIS SHOW SO MUCH. IT DESERVED MORE THAN 2 SEASONS. I STILL LOVE THIS SHOW

This show was up there with The Beverly Hillbillies, Adams Family, Elvira like 👍if watched these shows growing up ⬇️💞💞💞🤗🤗🤗

Can you imagine the team coach would have had he been able to sign both Herman and Moose Mallory? They would win three NCAA National Championships!

Fred was a star on CAR 54 WHERE ARE YOU ? Al Lewis was in that cast as well.

I don't understand why FRED GWYNNE is in an unmarked grave. He deserves better.

I was born in 97 and the Munsters and Gilligan's Island were my favorite shows to stay up and watch as a kid 💖 so comforting to rewatch

When I was a kid, this show gave me a lot of laughs, and I needed some. Now I know Fred Gwynne was a comedy genius. They never should've cancelled this show. Two more seasons at least. Gwynne's reactions are a master class in comedy. I know it seems an over the top statement but this wasn't his first show anyway. He really know what he was doing. The joy this man created - what a legacy.

Moose’s fathers voice (Pat Buttram) I recognise,from So many Disney films The sherif of Nottingham in Robin Hood,The Aristocats and the Rescuers to name a few.

Absolutely love the Munsters.

This is a beloved, classic show. Glad I watched it new. Should have been on at least 5 years. Moose guest starred on a lot of sitcoms then, including Petticoat Junction and Beverly Hillbillies. I think he was even on an episode of The Waltons. Several sitcoms through the years have had those mix-up scenarios, as this ep.

The Munsters had some very cool actors as guests Harvey Corman, was one & few others..Bill Mummy.

im 32 and the munsters aren't on tv much here in ireland but being of the spooky persuasion myself, i always knew of the series. i recently got the boxset and got to watch both series and i knew i was going to love it. the munsters spans generations without fail and is 1 of those series that will always have an audience.

i love these shows, but the adds are just way to much i cant enjoy this

So i’ve recently been watching the Beverly Hillbillies. The actor playing “Moose” was on an episode of the Hillbillies, kinda being the same sorta character. Maybe not *QUITE* as dumb as Moose. Anyhoo he did a great job!

MY FAVORITES

I grew up in the 1960's, watching all the half hour shows. The Munsters included. I'm a senior citizen now, & viewing The Munsters on RU-vid bring me joy, laughter in a very different world in 2022. The show writers, production folks, the thespians, everyone involved with this show gave us a half hour of escape from the miseries of reality.

I love it when RU-vid reminds me I like something I forgot about.

One of the best shows. But if Marilyn is the daughter of Lilly's sister, then how can she be a Munster....still a great show.

I haven't seen anyone else here mention it but I really love how much they love Marilyn. Yes they mention her "deformity" sometimes but it's obvious they care a lot about her (Eddie even got a bit jealous once of how much they coddle her). They're willing to go to lengths to help her!

Love the show but this is un-watchable with all the commercials.
