4 days wildcamping and hiking completing the Cateran trail! bit of everything in terms of scenery and weather! self sustained using dehydrated food. enjoy!
Awesome trail! New subscriber here 🤗🤗 I’m missing Scotland a lot! Did the great glen way earlier this year and the WHW last year…. Am looking for new ones to do next year and this is now on the list!!!
Hi James, new recent subscriber and I think my first comment. Great video and what a great trail. I do fancy that myself as its well marked and relatively easy being a cicular route. I've enjoyed a lot of long hikes in scotland over the years but these days while I'm still working it just seems too far to travel. Thanks for taking us along. Kind regards. 🍻👍
I bought a guide that had footprint mapping included. The trail was fairly easy to follow, just a few stretches where there were minimal signposts. The guide I used was called "Cateran Trail: A Circular Walk in the Heart of Scotland" hope you get some good weather in September! Atb
The jacket is a revolution race cyclone, did me really well. The hat is a paramo waterproof cap. The tent is a luxe hexpeak Lux 4a. Loads of room inside and pretty light! I use Aku boots which have never let me down. I should probably make a gear video! Atb
Hi mate I'm looking to do this walk soon was just wondering what it's like for getting the car parked? I've heard in some carparks they may clamp the car? Cheers
I had no problems with parking at all. There was a little car park by the river near the starting point that was free and my van was fine there for the whole trip! Enjoy, great walk!
