The mic probably works well for phonecalls and such where the noise supression is desired but for your truck vlogs, the sound of the road and your truck is...kind of the point. Camera mic is better for that.

The economy wouldn't grind to a halt. All of the provinces have a greater amount of trade with the US than they do with each other.

I used to cross into Windsor from Detroit and continued on 401 to points eastward. I grew up in Los Angeles, so I'm used to traffic delays. I love Toronto, but the traffic can be heavy. My service in the US Army taught me to hurry up and wait. As a former OTR driver with Stevens Transport, hurry up and wait was the norm, not the exception. My grandmother was from Canada, so my heart is with my brothers and sisters who are from there. Stay safe, Josh. Winter will be upon us soon. Weather can be rough here in SW Michigan. Lake Michigan is in my backyard. Take care, all!😌

Wireless mic is AWESOME for when you're walking about the truck away from the camera. Less good in the cab hanging from the ceiling than the go pro however.

Hi Josh, I traveled that specific road many times, Hwy 11 is 30 miles longer it saves you also about 300 litres of diesel. If you fuel up in Toronto you only need about 150 litres in Hearst to bring you to Dryden, ON. another 100 litres will bring you to Deacon's corner. So your saying about Hwy 17 is not so true at all.

i know the area very well Josh northern Ontario in winter can get very nasty very cold and a lot of snow much worse than the west snow wise anyway. if your down towards the London Ontario way i would buy you coffee or lunch like petro pass dorchester or flying J way

Sounds like your talking through a long pipe. No truck sound. What a lot of channels do is put a go pro behind the truck to get some outside shots and it will collect the truck sound. Then you can blend the sound in when you edit it and some of the outside video too.
