Yes the history of the nagas is very clear that the Nagas had no history before the advent of the british..... I hv always questioned myself why arent we the meiteis giving away what they are claiming to be theirs but unfortunately i cannot find any piece of history of the so called mighty nagas which supports their claims..... Simply the nagas were scattered unorganised small tribes inhabiting the north eastern hills in small pockets which were under the rule of the meiteis in Manipur and the Ahoms in Assam and todays Nagaland, later clubbed together by the British under the name nagas.... This is one reason why the tribes in manipur which fell under the meitei kingdom speaks meiteilon and those which fell under the ahoms speaks nagamese which is broken form of assamese.... if what the nagas are claiming were truely leigitimate, then the nagas wud hv gotton them long ago..... But unfortunately its a known fact tht the unique history of the nagas proudly propagated by the nagas today is nothing but a history framed and fabricated by muivah n his men with no basis..... Nagas have unique history even before the British though of going for voyage around the world. Note this- there is pear tree in Makhel village as a symbol of brotherhood though we scattered to different parts of Nagalim. Before they departed they have solemnly taken an oath that they will come together one day and we called now. Apart from that pear tree there are so many stones which are erected around makhel village and surrounding which is a witness to this very day. (If you want one prove, come and visit makhel village) So with your zero knowledge about Naga history better not interfere in our Naga affairs because meities got what you want and living luxurious with the fund of the hilly people. We wrote memorandum to the Simon Commision when he visited Kohima Jan. 10, 1929 to keep us as it was before the British invaded our land, we fought against the British from 1849-1879 for our freedom (for 30 years), we met Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of India Nation and with his blessing we declared Naga Independence Day on 14th of August 1947 (one day ahead of Indian Independence Day&sent cable to the UN), NNC conducted Naga plebiscite on 16 May 1951 in which 99.99% voted for free Nagaland(Nagalim), Nagas and Akbar Hydari signed Nine Points Agreement on 26-28 June, 1947 (but the Prime Minster of India, Jawaharlal Nehru violated the pact). (Thousands of jobs occupied, thousands acres of land occupied, business and so on..). Rightful thinking citizens should ponder upon it before the situation become worse.
The more the factions divide the more the indian government smiles......think and implement decisions our dear naga leaders.........the NNPGs and NSCN IM should be combined as 1 to form a strong group for the naga freedom ....im sure we will succeed in our long cherised dream❤
