What kind of metal is squarebar? I have seen other posts saying that they rust and need replacement.

Mounts and bar cost different or in the package only I was interested in Thule but the dealer said the mounts and rails are priced different it's little on a costlier side farad bars are not too costly

Just ordered same set for my Tiguan..can you confirm the square bar locks secure (won't slide) once you tighten bolt to secure feet to raised rail please?.thanks..
