Really glad that you are showing the alternate commanders. most other channels only do the 1 showcase and almost always show the face, but since you do multiple vids its nice to get the variation

Vihaan in a dedicated treasure deck can absolutely crush. My pod has playtested it a couple of times and each times it’s been a consistent presence.

What I enjoy even more than what you do differently in each of these showcase matches is you communicating it so well with that fancy schedule slide. (:

Glad that Alex responded to me when I suggested this on Twitter when they asked for recommendations during their Fallout vids. Keeps it fresh and see the alt commander because it opens the precons up a lot more. Also glad I was not the only one that recommended it because like others have said a lot of channels don't do alt commander game play.

Grenzo triggers for each creature, not just for itself, and doesn't even need to attack himself, which means he should trigger for Rankle at 13:40 and at 17:30

Great idea playing same precons with the alternate commander to inject new life into them. I like how this time the backup commanders actually kinda work with the deck unlike before where they made it a niche theme unrelated to the main deck.

I am sort of new to the channel, but I have to say I love the layers of content you folks make. Seeing the decks at precon, mana base upgrade, and then permutations on the build is chef’s kiss.

I actually got the Outlaw precon for the alt commander so this is nice to see. Going to tweak the deck a bit to generate more treasures consistently, but still nice to see the deck function well without any modifications

I really like the post game chat where you guys highlight plays, how decks felt, and overall opinions. I found that to be really good insight not just for Precons but for decks in general. Typically we see decks do or dont do the thing and then the content creator closes off without really delving much deeper, so I really think thats a nice little touch Keep up the great work and i cant wait to see the upgrades you guys do!

I think this showed off that while vihaan can be strong the deck isn't built to facilitate him in the absence of olivia making free treasures. Kirri had a similar problem where the deck just assumes you have yuma making you plant tokens to block fliers with.

im also glad youre doing alt commanders; esp w fallout only command zone (from what i regularly watch) did an alt commander and it would have been cool to see more alts. plus i really like the sultai and mardu alts in these precons

The Most Wanted Precon deck, I am very excited for and can't wait to get. But I also really want to build a deck around Felix, Five-Boots, I love decks that attack and get something out of it.

Would someone be kind enough to tell me if Felix would work with Yidris? I know Yidris works with double strike to double cascade if you can get it onto him, but I have not seen anything about Felix definitively working with him yet to give additional triggers.

I think the design philosophy has changed over the last few years from "Let's split the precon between synergies with all the commanders" to "Let's make a deck that works well with the base commander, and has some alternate build-arounds in the 99." Which I think is probably a good thing for the standard precon experience. But because of that, it might also be good to allow everyone a small upgrade budget so they can swap some cards around and make sure their Commander works well with the deck. It wouldn't be the pure precon, but you've already done that, and it would be a better way of showcasing what the alternate commanders can do. Strangely, Eris, Eye of the Storm may be the exception. The Quick Draw precon isn't really set up to help you cheat her out easily, but it's also not particularly well built to capitalize on Stella. Which is funny, because Stella is an extremely competitive Commander, but the deck just doesn't have the payoffs for what you want to do with her (like forking Price of Progress or exploiting untap effects).

It feels so weird for them to print a 4 mana 0/3 in this day and age without some truly disgusting abilities. And the deck is not well designed for them, too.
