i was a roadie for thunder when they played at the beirkeller in bristol.had a great night and got back street symphony LP signed as a thank you.ive still got it.
My dad got me into this band, and I thought they were really good and then one night, he was at a School Reunion, and he met Luke Morley the lead guitarist, and when he came back home, he told me he was schoolmates with him... I was speechless! Later on, I went to High Voltage Festival 2011, got my VIP pass and after Thunder's excellent reunion performance, I went back to the VIP area, met the band, told Luke Morley I was his old schoolmate's son, and he was pleased to meet me. Best day eva :D
I am so in love with this song/band I'm only fourteen but i wish I could've seen Thunder live! They are so amazing, much better for the shit that passes as music these days...
I have loved this BAND for years and I mean YYEEAARRSS!!!!! I can remember going into a record store (yes a record store that sold vinyl record........). I was browsing though the records and I saw the cover of 'Backstreet Symphony. I temember thinking love the cover. But I had never heard of Thunder. This was when they had just released 'Backstreet Symphony'. I got home and lstened to the album. I then FELL IN LOVE with Thunder and still LOVE'em!!!!! Twenty plus years later!!!!
I wish i wasn't so expensive for their tickets for the end of this year! Would love to go see these live! Also wish my friends would see why the old music is better than the music today! Im 14 and i fucking love these guys!
One of the best voices in rock music, been a privilege to have seen them live. Saw Thunder open the monsters of rock festival at Donington in 1990, best band of the day, they were awesome, one of the best half hours of music i've ever seen.
Seen 'em all over the last thirty + years.....Plant, Holder, Rodgers the lot. I got into Thunder rather late and only saw them for the first time two years ago - Then they pack it all in - sob. Danny Bowes is easily the finest voice, vocalist whatever you like I've seen to date. Totally blew me away...What a loss, get back together boys. Thunder along with Girlschool in my opinion most underappreciated bands from these shores...

I have been a Thunder since their very first album back in 1990. I remember buying their first album on LP in Pompey (Portsmouth). An AMAZINGLY BRILLIANT band....
Man, I just keep coming back to this performance. Time has had NO EFFECT on this guys voice, more than I can say for a lot of my favorite bands from the day. Just crazy...I played the CD and this song is perfect!!!
One of my fave bands of all time. I'll never forget the time I managed to get my jacket signed at the Hammy Odeon many years ago. Fantastic band who have always lived long in the memory. Deserved so much more than they got. The music scene was a fucking mess at the time. I'll always love Danny , Luke and the boys :o) xxx
wow !!!!............what a performance !! ... incredible.. this is what distinguishes a band from wannabes.. performing live like this which sounds identical to studio version .. great ..
Going to see them in Sheffield for the last time....Noooooooooo !!!!!!! have seen them about 10 times, so gutted they are splitting and never really got the recognition they deserve. If this had been the USA they would have got much more airplay. In the UK if you don't fit radio 1's profie of new and trendy you have no hope !!
I'll pay any money and I'll fly anywhere to see them live. That's actually the only thing I want to do before I die. Everything else has been done or doesn't really matter.
@MrNo3le one of my mates has been a fan of Thunder for many years, he saw Thunder at Rock City on the first night of two, he's got me listning to Thunder now, and enjoyin' it. good band..
