I pretty much agree with most of these comments on these "impulsive" nerfs, funny how K. Rool is now considered bottom tier by many now. I will say at least it's not OW bad where devs constantly nerf heros because people scream and don't want to learn the matchup. I am not against nerfs or buffs, but I swear, people need to be patient and see how the meta flexes itself instead of scream "nerf" at the first sign of something that might be strong.

They should reduce KK.Rool's hurt box.

Not really, some characters can abuse that if they throw projectiles, like the belmonts and you leave K rool without one of his major attacks and force him to come to you. Only casual trash don't know how to take opportunities. Oh yeah...also if your character has miserable recover and you just happen to throw Krool off the arena, that's a free shot and the Crown hits decently...or you just item drop it when he is coming up. The posibilities are there but the casual trash will say otherwise.

@@Yokai_Yuri I think that's what he meant. Out of all the characters with catchable projectiles k rool has by far has the worst one to be backfired with. Most projectiles dissaper or explode immediately when they hit the floor and some get weakened when grabbed by another character. Other charcters like Wario, Rob, and Diddy can also have thier projectiles used agaisnt them easily but atleast they are all have other good abilities to make up for it.

It coming out on frame 1 is just absurd.

The thing with snake is learning how to fight him is so bizarre. It's so non traditional to fighting game style I feel like The best counter play vs grenades is to grab and immediately throw snake. Grenades only explode after a set time, or if you hit them with a move, though if a grenade bounces off you it doesn't immediately blow up as it's still based off of the timer.

Snake is fine. You're viewing one of the worst match ups in this game. Fuck out of here with that nerf talk. People like you are the reason K Rool got nerfed.

@@xzgears929 Exactly. Buff the low tiers and make things more interesting, not nerf the top tiers. We have a bunch of babies who play smash now and instead of getting better at the game, wanna complain, "Broken!" constantly. Snake vs heavies is one of the worst MU of this game. People need to understand the MU first before complaining tbh.

Buffs K.Rool could get aerial frame data buffs all around brand new Uair reduce startup on Kannon by half revert the nerfs he got (they were all unjustified) boom, decent character

I don't know, every high level bayo I've seen has gotten demolished whenever they fight relevant snakes. Do you have a video of a strong bayo doing well vs a good snake by chance?

It would be cool of K rool and the Belmonts can choose grab thier own item projectile like megaman.

Also, if you thrown the Krownerang and get grabbed, it doesn’t break the grab upon return. Infuriating because Link’s boomerang does, so why not K. Rool?

Lol if you say so homie. As a Krool main (yes we exist), a GOOD snake is the worst thing to see. 1.Reflecting any of his projectiles dont work and he is the best at gimping my recovery. 2. Snake is heavy and contrary to popular belief, Krool already has problems killing if youre no getting those burrying grabs/ backthows. The dang minefield makes grabbing Snake damn near impossible as like I said is Krool's main way to kill 3. Snake is both quick and strong and Kills Rool earlier than you'd expect 4. Snakes out of shield options destroy how Krool likes to get in. Nair and Fair on Snakes shield just gets you a foot to the face 5. Krool can recover from very deep so edgeguarding with him is also how i get many of my kills as, like i said before, Krool has problema killing as many of his killing moves fuckin suck. Fsmash is way to short and actually whiffs on charcters ducking right in front of him. USmash is awful and Ftilt is unbelievably inconsitent since its one of Krool's few good tools so its always getting stale. Snake's anti-edgeguarding tools work well against Krool since he doesnt have and disjoints You clearly dont play either of these characters and are merely talking out your butt.

@@jdrmanmusiqking there are matchups in other fighting games that are literally unwinnable. As in they can do one move and the other character literally cannot do anything until they die. Injustice 1 had some examples of this

You didnt address a single thing i said lol. 9-1 and 10-0 matchups arent common but they do happen. I said "one of the worst" not the absolute worst and its clear that this matchup is definitely not playable as you said if the snake player actually knows how to play the matchup. I main Game and watch, I enjoy fighting him.

I enjoy fighting against snakes. it could just be that my friend/practice partner mains snake, but I think weaving in and out of his projectile is not only easy-ish but fun. At least for the characters I play (Diddy/Pika)

It's sad to see how much hate Solid Snake is getting by smash babies..

Snake is more like a 40:60 matchup. The only 30:70 matchups that K. Rool has are Pikachu, Pichu, and maybe Joker and Palutena. I don't think 20:80 matchups exist in this game.

KCrits he is a very good character but has some stupid stuff like grenade out of combos but he does have weaknesses

Honestly Snake isn't even THAT bad. Yeah he's tricky and I will never deny his tier placement but all you have to do is just stay smart and play around his grenades. Obviously matchup plays a big part against Snake as we see here but he's fine once you figure him out. Tricky, but not a huge problem.
